"wake up loser" jordan says shaking me

"go away" i mumble

"whatever bro but school starts in like 5 minutes"

"kay"

i turn over and continue to sleep

"you realize it's the second day"

"whatever can you just leave"

"okay well you're walking"

he finally leaves the room and i get up

i quickly put on my clothes and rush downstairs

i knew i was going to be late i just didn't want jordan to know that i care cause he would've definitely made fun of me

however when i get downstairs no ones there

"hello!" i say and i get no response

"hello? is anyone here"

still no response

i decide to just call my mom and she does in fact answer

"hello"

"hi where are you guys no ones home and i gotta go to school"

"oh i have a doctors appointment for the baby so i went with dad to drop off Jordan"

"but what about me?"

"what about you"

"i need a ride to school too"

"sorry but we don't have time to get you so you have to walk"

"but it's hot and the schools so far away"

"well you should've woken up on time now i have to go"

"wow such a great mom" i hang up without saying bye and i sigh

time for a walk

after much walking and getting lost a lot i finally make it to the school

i get in my class and my teacher stares at me

"you're not in my class Mr. Marais"

"yes i am. it's on my schedule"

"i specifically asked not to have Jordan Marais in my room"

"i'm caleb"

"ohhhh sit down"

great no one knows the difference between me and the dickhead

it's now lunch time aka my favorite and least favorite time of the day

it's my favorite because i get to talk to Jordyn but my least favorite cause this is when people mostly bully me

i quickly find Jordyn as soon as i get in the cafeteria and she's talking to some dude

oooo maybe she's getting a boyfriend

she needs a boyfriend. she's always complaining to me how she's single and lonely and wants a boyfriend so badly but no one will date her

i mean i'll date her i guess but like she wouldn't like me anyways so what's the point

we're just best friends and i like it that way

i walk up to her and wave at the guy

"hi"

"hi jordan?"

"caleb we're twins"

"oh i see well i was just asking this Jordyn if maybe she wanted to go out to the movies or somewhere this weekend"

"nice well i'll leave and you can continue the conversation"

i walk away and sit at our lunch table to wait

after a few minutes she comes back smiling

"i said yes"

"what do you mean?"

"we're going to the movies this weekend it's my first date"

"but i thought we were going to hang out"

"oh yeah sorry"

"aw man. well can i still come over and hang out with Taylor"

"do you really want to"

"yup"

"then sure"

"yay"
