"hey caleb do you want to come over tonight and sleep over since it's friday?" jordyn asks me as we walk out of the school
"yeah sure"
"okay well i have to walk home cause my mom is at a doctors appointment with Taylor, can you walk with me i don't want to walk alone"
"of course what else would a good boyfriend do"
"i don't know well let's go"
we walk out of the school and start to walk home
as we are walking she keeps looking over at me then to my hand then to her hand and back up
"caleb?"
"yeah"

we get to my house so i can get my stuff for tonight and we walk in

we walk up to my room and she sits on my bed

"oh... where's your brother isn't this his room too"
"yeah and who cares where he is he's another person that's mean to me"

"yeah you're right" she smiles and stands up to hug me
"you're my best friend and now my boyfriend and you make me so happy. you don't deserve what people do to you"
"thank you" i smile and she kisses me
"i'm so happy we're dating, this is the best day ever"
"but we got together yesterday?"
"yeah but today was the first day we were fully together"

while we're kissing my door opens and my dad walks in
"oh um sorry for interrupting" he says awkwardly
i roll my eyes and turn to him
"what do you want"
"um well moms water just broke and we're going to the hospital now so i wanted to say bye"
"kay well i'm going to sleep over her house"
"okay... don't you want to see your brother though"
"no he'll probably hate me just like Jordan and everyone else does"
