we get to the restaurant and when we walk in i smile
right in the waiting area is Jordyn and her family
i move away from my family and poke Jordyns back
"caleb!" she says turning
"hi"
"taylor come here"
"yes sis- CAY CAY" her little sister says jumping in my arms
Since her sister is so small and young she can't say my name she always calls me Cay Cay for a nickname
me and Jordyn found it funny so now i call her Tay Tay
"hi Tay Tay"
"i miss you sooooo much."
"aw i missed you too."
"you haven't come over our house in a while"
"well your sister hasn't invited me"
"ugh! sissy you need to invite Caleb over more"
"yeah you do" i tell her and she laughs
"i will this weekend well your family's staring us down you should go over"
"don't remind me" i roll my eyes and kiss Taylor's cheek
"i'll see you later"
"bye cay cay i love you"

i put her down and turn to Jordyn
"hug?" i ask
"hug" she hugs me and i sigh
"now i have to go"
"don't be so sad now go eat"
"bye" i wave and walk back to my family
"don't leave like that again" my mom says

"so how was school?" my dad asks while we eat
"amazing. there's so many hot girls in my class i already got like five of their numbers"
"good job five more tomorrow"

"it was awful not that anyone cares" i sigh and take a sip of my water

"well you could've told me you were going to go get ice cream"
"how do you know about that?"
"i saw you guys. i had to get a ride home from clearly now the only person who likes me and they brought me with them to get ice cream"
"so you got it anyways"
"i don't care about the ice cream. i care that my dad didn't want to be with both his sons. but you know what i'm used to it by now"
"what is that supposed to mean?"
"just forget about it just know i wish my dad loved both of his sons the same way but i'll never get that so it's okay"
