i now have to go home and i really don't want to

so much good stuff has happened to me today, i had my first kiss, got my first girlfriend, had my second kiss, and i just don't want my happiness to be ruined

Jordyns mom drops me off at my house and i don't feel like leaving

"do i have to go" i pout putting my head on Jordyns shoulder

"sorry honey but you have to" her mom says

"ugh fine" i hug jordyn and leave the car

i didn't want to kiss her in front of her mom cause i feel like it's inappropriate

"wait Caleb!" Jordyn calls out causing me to turn around

"yeah?"

"one more hug"

"sure"

i laugh and hug her one more time, before I leave the hug she kisses my cheek

"okay you can leave now"

"bye!" i wave and walk (unfortunately) to my house

i walk in and my family is at the table eating dinner

i already ate at Jordyns house so i'm very full

before anyone says anything to me i walk upstairs

however, my mom calls me down when i get halfway up the stairs

i walk backwards down the stairs and over to my mom

"yes"

"aren't you going to eat"

"already did at Jordyns"

"oh well how was school"

"good can i go upstairs now"

"no i want to talk to you i haven't seen you all day"

"that's not my fault"

"i know it's not now please sit down"

"fine"

i sit down and my mom starts talking

"so i need to talk to you about something"

"what?"

"well we don't have many rooms in this house so you're going to have to share a room with the new baby"

"umm why? i already share a room with Jordan"

"yeah well he's moving out of your room and into his own"

"so then why can't i have the room to myself"

"cause we need somewhere for the baby"

"can't it just sleep in your room. that's what Jordyns mom did with her sister"

"first of all IT is a he and second how do you know that"

"cause i saw but that doesn't matter. i don't get why I have to be the one to share."

"cause you don't have people over that much so you don't need the extra space. Jordan has people over all the time and he needs more space to hang out with them"

"oh i get it, Jordan's 'popular' so he matters more than me" i stand up from the table and roll my eyes

"that is not what i said Caleb"

"yes mom it is. you just told me that since he has more friends which shows he's popular means he needs more space and since i'm a loner and a loser i don't. but guess what mother i'm not a loner or a loser, i actually have a girlfriend. do you know who doesn't have a girlfriend, yeah that's right your "star" son Jordan. now i'm going to go be a loser with no friends up in my room. goodbye if you need me: don't!" i run up the stairs and into my room where i start to cry

i just don't understand why she treats Jordan so good and me so poorly it's not fair at all

i just want her to love me the same way but she doesn't

i continue to cry and cry until i can't cry anymore and i decide to just fall asleep

i go under my covers and start to sleep

but of course i'm interrupted by Jordan coming in the room
