"are you sure you're okay? you took the fall pretty hard." Sans stated.
"I told you, I'm fine!" you said, rubbing the back of your head. "Besides, at least I got to see you when you were even shorter."
You pushed his arm in hope for a chuckle at the tease you made, but his face didn't even falter into a smile.
"still don't understand how the heck that even worked, but i guess we're blaming it on determination again?" he asked.
"Yeah." you said, holding his had as you walked through the streets of Paris.
Sans and you had already seen most of the sights that could be seen in Paris, such as the Effel tower, obviously. You also saw the Cathedral Notre-Dame and the Louvre Museum. You kept saying that you wish that you chose to go to London. Than you and Sans could have gone on the London Eye or seen Big Ben. However, sans said that Paris was perfect, especially after learning that it was the city of love and London was the city of fog.
"does your stomach still hurt?" He asked rubbing your shoulder.
"A little, but I should be alright, it's only a stomach ache" You told him, holding on to the hand that was now rested on your shoulder. "You seem a lot more jumpy than usual, are you okay?"
"me? c'mon, is that even a real question? you know i'm perfectly fine." He said, despite the look of a blue hue covering his cheeks and the fact that he was shifting his gaze away from you.
"Sans? What's wrong?" You asked worryingly.
"n-nothin, babe. seriously, it's nothing. my magic is just making me sense things that aren't there." He told you, squeezing you shoulder tough but light at the same time.
"What do you mean? What do you sense?" you asked nervously.
"oh. it's nothing." he shrugged. "don't worry about it okay?"
You knew you weren't going to get an honest answer at this rate, so you let the topic go until you could get some leverage against him.
As you walked, you were intercepted by a young girl. She looked like she could have been in her early teen years, thirteen or fourteen. She stood there, staring, mouth open before she spoke up.
"O-oh! S-so sorry! I didn't mean to stare like that! I-it's just.." she fumbled with her hands before pulling out a small rectangular notebook out of her front pocket, alone with a pencil.
She flipped the notebook open with a single swinging motion and handed it to you.
You looked at the girl, a bit confused. "Uh..?"
"You're Frisk, right?" She asked. "The one who broke the monster barrier?"
"Oh. uh.. Yes?" You answered honestly, Sans's grip on your shoulder tightening.
"Do you mind if I get an autograph?!" She exclaimed. "I want to be as good as you when I get older!"
You instantly felt Sans' hand relax and drop to wrap around your waist. You smiled widely at the young girls request. You signed the notebook and gave it back to the girl. She squealed and ran back to a woman who you assumed to be her mother. Her mother only smiled and waved at you. You waved back.
A few more steps until an adult man came to you and Sans and stopped in front of you.
"Did I hear that conversation right?!" The man said energetically. "I wasn't eavesdropping or anything, I just happened to overhear that you're Frisk?"
Sans pulled you closer to him, tensing up.
"Yes, that's me." you said, trying your best not to look annoyed with his excitement.
