Frisk!

Well... what a great start to a good afternoon. You were just about to sit down and watch some TV with Sans when Chara screamed at you. You sighed, placing down the plate of lasagna on the coffee table. Fran had managed to take over the cooking from Papyrus, and actually teach him how to make things that didn't catch on fire. Thanks to Toriel also helping Papyrus and Chess with their cooking, the meals of endless different types of pasta were actually quite tasteful.

"what's wrong?" Sans asked, mouth full of the surprisingly amazing dish.

You tapped your head and he groaned complainingly, exaggerating by slumping down into the couch. You nodded and walked up the stairs into the bedroom so you could be alone.

What?

Are you home?! Are you okay?! Did you get home alright?!

Woah woah! Calm down! You have to tell me what is wrong. Why are you so worried all of a sudden?

Chara was panicking, talking faster and faster as she explained. Who could blame her though? She had just realized who was behind everything.

It was Joan! Joan was the reason why everything in my life went to shit! Joan made Ryan do all that stuff, and then I thought it was all him when he was actually forced to do it, and now I don't know what to do, because Joan is your boss, and he seemed to have changed a lot for the better, but-

Okay okay okay! Calm! What do you mean it was Joan's fault?

You were even more confused as she tried, and failed, to explain herself, it was beginning to worry you. Then she said something that made you angry, that made your blood boil with tension and fear.

I almost attacked Ryan, like, right now, because I wanted to-

What do you mean, 'almost attacked Ryan'?!

Before you could listen to Chara explaining herself for another time, your door busted open. You jumped at the loud noise and looked to see Papyrus' foot sticking through the now open doorway. You sighed, quickly telling Chara that you would have to talk to her later, and walked over to Papyrus.

"HUMAN!" Papyrus shouted. "I WAS WONDERING IF I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, COULD TAKE YOUR TINY MONSTER TO THE PARK?"

"Well, I-" You began.

"Actually, Papy... could we go to the hospital instead?" Fran asked behind the skeleton, her hand raised in questioning. "I want to try and talk to Uncle Kris."

Papyrus stepped clear of the door, and you both stopped and looked at her for a second. You kept forgetting that she could talk to people through her dreams, however, she never actually did it with you or Sans for some reason. The only people she would talk to was Gaster and Chase, other than that, she said she didn't want to enter someone's mind without permission.

That's what Gaster had said it was at least. Franchesca wasn't really falling asleep, but rather was entering another person's mindspace, and being able to communicate that way. Nobody had actually sat down to talk about the fact that none of the skeletons could do something so extraordinary. So the fact that Chess could even have the power she did, was confusing in of itself. It was no mystery to anybody, in the town, that Fran was the strongest of all of them when it came to magic. However, Sans continuously has denied that fact, and has said many many times that her powers shouldn't be growing that fast.

But that wasn't the issue at hand, Chess wanted to go talk to Kris, who was still in a coma at the hospital. From the way he was acting before he fell asleep, maybe it wasn't such a good idea for Fran to enter his mindspace. You weren't actually sure if she could get hurt while she made communication, but you still worried. If she could get hurt, who could imagine the things inside Kris' head? Especially after what happened with Gaster...
