Chapter 18 The Voice

"Y'know.. I really hated being that flower" Asriel said before turning into his final form to let you save your friends.

"Asriel, you should come with us, this time." you tell him.

"But I should find Chara." he said.

"Let's talk after this" you said, reaching out to Toriel and Asgore.

*You told the Lost Souls that you were going to save everyone.

"Your fate is up to you now!" Toriel exclames.

"You are our future" Asgore says.

You reached out for Undyne.

*You gave the Lost Soul a big smile, like you remember she likes to do

"Well, some humans are OK, I guess!" She shouts.

You reached out for Alphys.

*You tell the Lost Soul that you'll continue to support her.

"My friends like me! And I like you, too!" she says confidently.

When you reached out for Papyrus, you expected Sans to show up too... but he didn't.

*You asked the Lost Soul for help with a puzzle

"NO! WAIT!! YOU'RE MY FRIEND! I COULD NEVER CAPTURE YOU!" he shouts.

Finally, you rached for Sans' Lost Soul.

*You told the Lost Soul a bad pun about skeletons.

That won't work just yet...

He didn't wake up yet.

"just give up. i did." he said, then attacked you with a small amount of bones.

Your eyes felt hot.

*You tell the Lost Soul that you think that Crosswords are harder than Jumble.

Not yet..

He still didn't wake up....

"why even try?" he says, as he attacks you again.

I think we both know the answer to "that".

*You asked the Lost Soul to take a break from fighting with you...

"you'll never see 'em again" He says sadly, attacking you more.

Your eyes filled with tears.

*You told the Lost soul that you'd think about what you'd done.

*It seems like it's trying to remember...

Sans wakes up "nah, i'm rooting for ya, kid."

The flash.

It was over so quickly.

But you know what you heard.

You saw Asriel in front of you, the 11 year olds boy who was terrified out of his mind for finally going to see his parents this time. He was shivering, and picking off pedals off of a golden flower.

"Asriel?" you said.

"What if they forgot about me.." he said.

"How could they forget someone as wonderful as you? Even if you've done some bad things in the past, I know that they can forgive you."

"No they won't...." a familiar voice said.

You both turned around to see Chara. She was holding a knife, and there was still bits of bone coming out of her bleeding stomach. The sight made you gag. She was dead, but your determination must still be attached to the body. After all, it still was your body at the beginning.
