After a swift return back to the Dreemurr's house, the two girls sat in the living room. They talked mostly quietly, making sure that they would not miss if Toriel would come through the door. However, their conversation soon became heated with anger and confusion.

"It's normal here" Suzy said calmly, a tint of anger stretching out her words.

"NOTHING ABOUT THAT WAS NORMAL!!!!!" Susie shouted back. "S-she's melted all over the place!!!!"

Suzy groaned and adjusted her glasses, blinking as the light from the Dreemurr fireplace was beginning to get into her eyes. Perhaps it wasn't a good idea for her to bring her alternate self to the Amalgamates home. It obviously wasn't something that had happened in her timeline, so how could Suzy expect her to understand?

It was like explaining evolution to a ditzy blonde, and expect her to get over twenty percent on an exam. There was no way that she could explain what had happened when the monsters were trapped inside the mountain. Not unless she wanted to go through the entirety of human and monster history.

"She's still our mother." Suzy said. "Even if we don't like it."

"Wait." Susie paused for a minute and pondered the statement. "We..?"

Suzy only sighed again and grabbed for her bookbag beside her, reaching inside and grabbing her sketchbook. Susie took the hint and decided not to ask anything of it anymore. Suzy began drawing, causing the other to stand up and go into the room she was designated to, grabbing her own sketchbook.

It wasn't nearly as filled in as the one back home, but it was something she could distract herself with. She would do the same thing while she was back home with her father. Drawing to distract herself, even though everyone she had been 'friends' with told her to live in the real world.

Perhaps that's what everyone had told Suzy to think of when she goes to visit her mother? That, even though she had melted because of a determination injection, at least she was still alive... right...?

"Whatcha' drawin'?" Susie asked, looking over the other monsters shoulder. "Holy sh-"

"Just a character I came up with a while ago" Suzy smiled, continuing to draw as she casually interrupted the other. "His name is-"

"It's Lancer." Susie took the sketchbook out of her alternate versions hands, completely ignoring the oncoming protests. "Have... you met him...?"

"A-are you sure about this Chara...?" Ryan asked, nervously shaking as they approached a room covered in spikes, the side filled with water.

"You big baby." Chara commented. "The lighter floor pattern in the room behind us is the solution."

Ryan looked through the small space between them and the previous room of the ruins. Ryan then turned back around and followed Chara cautiously through the spiked trail. When they made it to the other side, they didn't have to worry very much about any more puzzles. You had done all of them when you fell into the underground. Even the floor puzzles looked like they had obvious solutions, especially with how many times you had fallen through.

The rest of the ruins weren't that bad, in fact, it went very smoothly. Chara took a brief moment while inside Toriels old house and just breathed it all in. This was where her first real home had been, before they moved to New Home. Her and Asriel would play in these halls, they would color and draw, hunt for snails, eat pie, and just.... be together... However that was all in the past.

Ryan and Chara had reached Snowdin without even the slightest bit of worry. Both of them were beginning to regret their clothing choices for this unexpected trip. Their feet crushed into the snow over and over as they walked towards the Library.
