"O-Okay!" Alphys said, a little nervously. "How are you feeling, Fran?"

She stayed silent, not really caring about how she felt anymore. All of what she knew was not even real, so why did it matter if she was comfortable or not? Her father didn't like the silence though and held onto her hand. She looked up to him, heavy eyelids trying to stay open.

"chess, are you okay?" Sans asked, looking into her eyes.

She shook her head in response but shrugged her shoulders along with an eye roll. Sans looked over to Alphys with a concerned look on his face, almost as if asking what was wrong. Alphys turned around and turned off her computer.

"How a-about I leave you two be, f-for a while," Alphys said, walking out of the room to go check on some more patients.

Fran's eyes began to fill with tears, and all Sans could do was hug onto her. She had the most deadpan look on her face as she moved her arms to hug him back. There was nothing that she could do to change the story and she knew it. Her grandfather was dead and it was all her fault. She couldn't do anything to save him. The only thing that she could think of was...

"Dad..?" She let out a shaky breath while they readjusted their arms. "Could we reset..?"

"what...?" He paused, seeing the look on her face.

"You know too?" She asked, seeing the same expression that Gaster had when he told her that he knew they weren't real. "Seems like everyone I know does..."

Sans looked at her with a worried expression on his face. He knew that she was very very close to Gaster, but he never would have thought that he would tell her about the game. His left eye flared with magic as he eyed the room next to them. His natural smile almost seemed to shift into something of pure rage.

"Stop," Fran said firmly, her blue eyes glowing brightly towards him. "Not in here."

"wha-" He started, before Fran reached her left hand on his forehead. "what are you doing?"

"Relax," she said calmly, warm magic pulsating through her hand.

He quickly grabbed onto her wrist and pulled her hand off of his skull, looking at her with magic in his left eye. Sans shook his head like he knew exactly what she was trying to do. Her expression didn't even shift when he did, and Sans' eye sockets widened.

"fran." he said sternly. "how did you learn all this? these are very dangerous magical practices."

She lowered her head, not wanting to answer the question. Sans sighed, knowing that he wasn't going to get a straight answer from her. There were so many times where Fran would prove that she was powerful, but Sans didn't want to believe it.

"I just... know" She lied, laying down on the hospital bed and closing her eyes.

"don't you dare go there right now." Sans said, causing her to open her eyes and look at him. "think about what happened last time, chess."

"If you want to talk to me about my powers, then you come with me." She said, closing her eyes again. "If not, then don't try and stop me from trying to fix everything."

Sans stopped and looked at her, then the tubes that were attached to her wrists monitoring her magic and blood. He sighed and laid his head down on the bed, actually having an excuse to take a nap today. He was exhausted after looking for her, finding out his father had died, and now the fact that Fran knew about their existence.

"if your uncle screams at me for sleeping, you're the one to explain," He said with a low chuckle.

Fran laughed, as both of them fell into a low somber slumber.
