"How are we going to get his dust if we stay in the Underground?" Ryan asked nervously.
Chara stopped, turning around to look at him in the face. She walked towards him and grabbed the bowl out of his hands. He looked at her confusingly as she gently placed the bowl onto the golden and purple throne in the top center of the garden. Chara then walked back to the man and stared up into his longing eyes.
He wanted to lean down to kiss her, but he knew that she wouldn't let that happen. She would probably slap him many upon many times in the face for even thinking about wanting to kiss her at a time like this. They were here for the sole purpose of reviving Asriel from the dead, nothing more. In fact, the thought itself caused him to shake his head slightly and close his eyes for a moment, trying to get rid of the idea altogether.
"Asriel died here too." She said calmly until her speech began twisting into something almost demonic. "When he was attacked by those, stupid, evil, nasty, cruel humans"
Ryan stepped back. Was that, that 'monstrous threat' in Ebbot city a long time ago? Was that Asriel being attacked by humans? It was most likely, considering the fact that humans were so afraid of monsters in the first place. So much in fact, that they drove them underground.
"So you're telling me... there's some dust here?" Ryan asked.
"Most likely," Chara said, looking around the room of flowers. "But there might not be, so we'll have to test it out."
Ryan cocked his head to the side confusingly. How on earth were they supposed to find any dust that belonged to Asriel in a place like this? This throne room was completely covered in dust from it being left alone for so long. So, how were they going to be able to separate the dust from Asriel from the dust that grew here over time?
"Um..." Ryan scratched the back of his head. "Why don't we just go back to Newer Home, and we can just-"
"Good idea!" Chara said a little too cheerfully for Ryan's liking. "Let's just sneak back into my old house and hope that my mother doesn't scream when she sees you."
"Your... mother?" Ryan thought for a moment, only remembering the old stories of when Chara was abused by her human mother. "Oh. Toriel."
Chara waved her hands in his face. Her eyes had gotten red again, and Ryan could tell that she was in pain. She grabbed onto her stomach casually and closed her eyes to try and calm down. She knew Chase didn't like it when she went into a powerless state. It was almost like it hurt him in away. Calming down, her eyes turned brown.
"Why don't we just get one of your" Ryan tapped his head. "Siblings, to grab it for you?"
Chara's shoulders relaxed a little bit. That could actually work, but only if she could be in contact with Kris. As far as she knew, he was still in a coma, but she hadn't checked in a while. The only thing that would screw this all up would be if you figured out what she was asking Kris to do. She would have to remember exactly where the ern of dust was in the old house.
"That might actually work, give me one second." She walked towards the entrance of the long grey hallway outside the throne room. "I'll be right back."
Ryan only nodded and watched as Chara walked back towards the way they came in. He looked around the throne room again, noticing another throne in the far corner of the room that was covered in a long white sheet. Quickly grabbing onto the sheet, he pulled it off to show another throne with an engraving on the back of the headboard.
Hey, is anyone there? Frisk? Kris?
Hey!! Are you okay?! Kris just woke up! Where are you?! Are you safe?!
