Abaddon was seriously irritated with the fact that no one could find Azazel or Sam Winchester. The men in black suits all stared at her, looking sheepish. Another report, and nothing. Not a single piece of information on the two people they needed to find.
"Get out of my sight. Damn it, find me something useful. Or I'm just going to kill all of you," Abaddon said, rubbing her forehead. She looked at the demons who hadn't moved. "What did I say? Go! Now! Find me the Winchester or that useless demon." All of them fled and she turned around. The throne was right behind her...but she wasn't going to sit on it yet.
She needed Sam Winchester. So she could use his blood to summon Crowley. Of course, all the demons, including Azazel, wanted to bring back the demon king so he could rule over hell. Abaddon needed him back. So she could kill him and take the throne.
She wasn't exactly a fan of how the current King of Hell was running things. Everything was so lax...he had an entire section of Hell that was practically like Heaven. And he always mumbled something about how it was for people who Heaven didn't accept, but were good people. What sort of demon let human souls be happy in Hell? Well, Abaddon wasn't having any of it. She had plans. Find Sam Winchester. Then kill Azazel, summon Crowley, and then kill him. And then she could have the throne.
"Umm....Abaddon?" a meek voice said from the doorway. Abaddon turned around from the throne and looked at the doorway. There was a sickly looking demon in a suit about a size too big standing in the doorway. If he didn't have good news, he would make the perfect example. She'd kill him, skin him, and hang him outside the door to the throne room. That would teach these useless pigs...
"What is it?" she snapped.
"It's about the witch. You requested a witch that could perform the summoning ceremony. We found one, ma'am," he mumbled. Abaddon fought the urge to kill him. After all, she couldn't kill the only person who had given her useful information.
"Well then, maybe you can go tell your fellow swine to find me something on Azazel or the Winchester. Now get out of my sight," she waved her hand and then disappeared.
She expected to appear in an old witchcraft shop, a village hut in some Santeria practicing village. She expected something climactic. She did not expect to find herself in a teenage girl's bedroom. The girl on the bed pulled out one of her earbuds and looked up from her English textbook.
"Umm...what the hell? Who are you?" the girl asked.
"I'm looking for a witch," Abaddon said. She tried to hide her confusion, but it showed through in her voice. She didn't seem like a fearless demon. She sounded like an awkward human.
"Ookaaayyy..." the girl said, dragging out the word. " Who are you?"
"My name is Abaddon. I'm a demon. And you're a witch, are you not?" the demon asked her.
"Well...I mean, I can do some stuff. Not like, summoning demons. Did I summon you?" she asked, looking around in confusion.
"No. No, you didn't summon me. I need you to summon someone. Can you do a spell?" Abaddon asked, already frustrated.
"Uh, it depends..." the girl started.
"No. No, no. I did not sign up for this. What do you want....? What's your name?" Abaddon asked.
"Ash."
"Okay. What do you want, Ash?"
"To sit on my bed, listen to music and read fanfiction. Why?"
"No think bigger. What do you want? If you could have anything in the world?"
"To be done with high school?" Ash offered, still supremely confused.
