Dean was sitting against the wall on the floor, trying to wrap his head around everything that was happening. So far, he could gather this much. He had been living with Michael. Somehow they met some angels (which he didn't know existed) and then someone had killed him. According to John, it was the demons. According to Castiel, it wasn't. Dean wasn't sure who to believe. Oh, and of course the fact that Sam was apparently gay for one of the angels. Dean was cool about it. Sam was his brother, after all, he wasn't going to judge who he was attracted to. It was just weird for Dean to get used to. Plus, now it seemed like everyone who he had been living with was gay, except for him.

Sam poked his head around the corner of the hallway, hazel eyes filled with concern. Dean looked up at him and sighed. He had gone outside and told John the whole story. John had told him to get in the car. For the first time in his life, he refused. Dean still wasn't entirely sure how to feel about his decision to stay. But when he had walked in and seen how happy Sammy was...he wasn't going to lose his brother. Not this time. He had spent far too long letting Sammy down, and he wasn't going to do it anymore.

"Hey, Dean," Sam said. Dean nodded at his brother, who folded up his long legs to sit beside Dean on the floor.

"What did I miss Sammy?" Dean asked, looking at his brother.

"A lot, Dean. You missed a lot. But you're back now, so that's all that matters. We can catch you up on everything else," Sam said, patting Dean's shoulder. Dean nodded, staring at the door where all the angels were.

"So, you could start catching me up now. Why were we living with Michael in the first place?" Dean asked.

"Well, Dad went on a hunting trip and hadn't been back in a few weeks. So we called Bobby, Bobby called Michael. We went with him to Oregon," Sam explained.

"And how did we get wrapped up with the angels?" Dean asked, expecting to hear some story about how they had almost killed each other, had to unite against a common enemy...something.

"Well, I met Gabe at the local coffee shop. You told me I wasn't allowed to leave, because of the demons, but I didn't know about the demons. So I would go to the coffee shop, and we sort of became friends. And then he saved me from some demons with his wings and told me everything. And Michael and Lucifer, well they were working in the same lumber yard. A tree fell on Adam..." Sam started.

"Who the hell is Adam?" Dean asked.

"You forgot Adam," Sam sighed. "Adam is Alfie's...boyfriend. We aren't entirely sure the exact nature of their relationship, but we'll roll with that. Anyhow, they sort of...I don't know. Lucifer said it was automatically sexually tense, but Michael just hits him and says it's none of your...our business." So Dean had been the main instigator of the harassment. Good to know.

"And what about me? I just found out because of you two?" Dean asked.

"No. You met Cas in the woods and you two became friends," Sam explained.

"What the hell were we doing in the woods?" Dean asked.

"You were hunting. And Castiel wasn't allowed to leave either, like me."

"Why?"

"Because there was a prophecy that he was going to fall in love with a human and bring about the destruction of Heaven. Which, he did," Sam explained.

"Who did he fall in love with?" Dean asked. Sam's eyes filled with conflict and pain, but before he had a chance to speak the door opened. Sam and Dean both stood, Sam disappearing down the hallway. Gabriel pulled him into the room and handed him some first aid supplies.
