Gate to Hell

At this point, Lucifer was ready to kill anything that came between himself and Hell. He was going to make sure his whacked-out-on-angel-juice brother made it to where he needed to go. Castiel was going to pull Dean Winchester out of the Pit, whether fate wanted it to happen or not. What was it that Crowley called them? Team Free Will? Lucifer was down for that. Fate or Chuck, or the demons or the angels couldn't stop them this time. He was so damn tired of people trying to mess up their lives. He wasn't going to let anyone do that. Not a single, goddamn soul.

"You ready?" Gabriel asked, pulling out his angel blade. Lucifer nodded, pulling out his own. He was so ready to destroy whatever was on the other side of that door. The gate to hell was in an abandoned insane asylum (Crowley grumbled something about it being in a different place here which made Balthazar hit him). They had some semblance of a plan. Lucifer and Gabriel were going in one side, Balthazar and Alfie were going in a third way, and Crowley and Gilda were taking the third entrance. Castiel was going to enter a couple of minutes later and make a break for the gate. Once he was inside, however, he was on his own.

"Ready as ever. Let's do it," Lucifer said. He pushed open the door and stepped inside. He was not expecting what he saw in the asylum. There were not a couple angels and demons guarding the portal. They were literally everywhere. They were on the main floor, lining the staircases above them, probably huddling in the old cells as well for all Lucifer knew. It was not good. Not good at all. "Shit." Gabriel didn't have a chance to respond because quickly they were being attacked from all sides. Lucifer barely noticed Balthazar and Alfie enter. The only reason he noticed Gilda and Crowley come in was because he could hear Gilda swearing all the way from the other side of the hospital.

He lost track of how many angels and demons he had killed. He was barely thinking, he was completely out of control of his thoughts. He had one mission, and that was to kill as many as he could. He barely registered the pain as an angel blade dug into his shoulder, or as another one slashed at his chest. He did notice when one came right for his face. He caught the eyes of the angel behind the blade as their eyes widened in horror and started to glow.

Apparently, Castiel had made his entrance.

The younger angel walked in through the main entrance. All of the angels and demons practically stopped attacking at that moment, horrifyingly entranced by the entrance of the angel. He raised both of his hands up, palms out, and his wings flashed out, pure white and stretched to their maximum wingspan. The angels dropped to the ground, comvulsing as their grace slowly and painfully was ripped from their body. The demons were too horrified to do much of anything for a long painful second until they renewed their battle. Lucifer and Gabriel kept them away from Castiel as he walked to the center of the building. the portal.

It was a large circular hole in the ground that seemed to just drop into the center of the Earth. There was nothing overly special about it. It didn't glow like the gates of Heaven, if anything it seemes to absorb the light around it. Like everything in the room was just a shade darker than it should be. Castiel turned his head and looked at Lucifer, eyes glowing blue. And then he jumped into the hole, head first, wings outspread.

The demons basically called a retreat at that point. They regrouped and studied their wounds. They were mostly alright. None of them had been injured too badly, considering Castiel had come in and taken out more than half their enemies. It had definitely made the fight easier.

"So what do we do now?" Gabriel asked. Crowley shrugged.

"He probably won't come out here. Hell is weird like that. It just sort of spits you out in random places. So I guess go home," Crowley explained.

"Sounds good to me," Lucifer said yawning. "Let's go." He grabbed Gilda's hand and flew back to Georgia, dropping down in front of the house and touching his shoulder gingerly.

"Micheal's not going to be happy you got yourelf injured," Gilda said. Lucifer poked at a wound she had on her side.

"Yeah, and Charlie's going to be thrilled with that," Lucifer said. It felt good to joke with his friend instead of panicking about what was going on with Castiel. He hoped his little brother was okay. He hoped he would find Dean.

"It's not the same," Gilda practically whined.

"Oh, it's not?" Lucifer asked as he pushed the door open. Gilda was about to respond, but didn't get the chance. They were both too busy freaking out. Meg was on the floor right outside the door, bleeding from her head. Gilda rushed to her side, but Lucifer went past.

"Michael!? Sam!?" Lucifer yelled. He found Kevin and Benny in the kitchen, both unconscious. He touched them both quickly to heal their wounds before rushing up the stairs. Adam was nearly dead on the floor, beaten horribly. Lucifer skid to a stop to check on the younger boy. He put his hand to his forehead and the bruises cleared up. Adam's eyes shot open and he gasped for air.

"What happened?" Lucifer asked.

"The demons....they took Sam," Adam managed to say.

"Where's Michael?" Lucifer asked. Adam's eyes flashed and he pointed at the door to Sam's room. Lucifer didn't waste any time getting to the door.

Michael was on the floor. He was covered in blood, covered in cuts and bruises. He had put up one hell of a fight to protect Sam. Lucifer put a hand to his neck, praying to whatever was out there for a pulse. He felt nothing.

"No, no, no. You don't get to die on me, not yet," Lucifer said, feeling for a pulse again. This time, he felt a faint thudding. Very, very faint. But it was enough. He grabbed Michael's face gently and healed him. He was so close to death, the energy it took completely exhausted Lucifer. Michael didn't wake up. Lucifer hadn't expected him to, he had endured a lot of trauma.

And now Lucifer had to find Sam.

Okay, so this is normally what half a chapter would be, but I've been so bad about updating, so I want to get back on it, sorry. I'm going to do stuff more like this, and try to update on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sorry again, school has been highkey stressful.

Also, is anyone even reading this anymore lol? I'm going to finish, regardless, but I'm pretty sure no one reads it now.

I have the honor to be your obedient servant.
