Hello, everyone. Today hasn't been a good day. I think it's a good time to confide in you about my health.
- I'm 90% sure I am anemic, but I haven't gone to the doctor's office to get my blood tested yet. I just haven't had the strength-and I'm afraid to drive. I've decided to visit a doctor after I arrive on campus because I'm familiar with my university's Student Health Center, and it's only a ten-minute walk from main campus. In the meantime, I've been taking iron and vitamin b12 supplements to manage my symptoms (extreme fatigue, shortness of breath, heart palpitations), but I am aware that it is dangerous to take supplements without having been diagnosed with anything. So I'll definitely visit the doctor's office soon.
- Last night, I slept for about 10-12 hours, which I do not recommend. Oversleeping almost always makes me sick. This morning, I woke up with horrible symptoms. I felt weak, sluggish, and dizzy. I drank plenty of water and took my iron and b12 supplements with buttered noodles, but later, I began to feel mild pain in my neck and eventually developed a migraine. Horrible pain. Eventually, my dad came home with the burger and fries I'd asked for, so I took my Excedrin Migraine pills with my food. Then-just like magic-my symptoms disappeared in about thirty minutes. Excedrin has not failed me once, and I'm amazed every time it cures a headache.
