A Wonderful Week

Ello, guys! I've had such a wonderful week with my boyfriend of about 2.5 years. I slept over his house for four nights. I could write on and on about our festivities, but I'll only briefly describe them below:

Monday 7/15: We went to a nearby waterpark, but we were only able to relax in the "lazy river" and ride one slide 'cause it started raining. I was pretty upset, but the Chipotle we ate afterward cheered me up a bit.

Tuesday 7/16: We relaxed in my boyfriend's room for most of the day, but in the evening, we went to a Japanese BBQ restaurant where we cooked our own meat and vegetables on a grill at our table. I really enjoyed this! I was in such a great mood afterward. We ended the night watching an episode of "Black Mirror" in his hot tub.

Wednesday 7/17: He and I visited a zoo! I most enjoyed seeing the elephants play in the water. I think he did, too. I had a hamburger and fries for lunch, and he had chicken tenders and fries. It was an amazing outing, but it was such a hot, humid day. By the time we got back to his house, we were damp with sweat.

Thursday 7/18: Another relaxing day. I tried an açaí bowl for the first time. I ordered a blueberry-banana blend with granola, almonds, and coconut shavings on top, and he ordered a strawberry-banana blend. I like açaí bowls but only if the blend is covered in crunchy toppings 'cause I'm not a big fan of mushy foods. Later, we binge-watched "The Act" on Hulu and ordered Chinese food for dinner.

Friday 7/19: My boyfriend, his dad, and I visited a college that my boyfriend is interested in attending. My boyfriend liked the campus, but honestly, I wasn't too fond of it. Afterward, we went out for lunch at a nice restaurant, and my boyfriend's mom met us there. Unfortunately, the outing ended on a pretty sour note because my boyfriend's parents stressed him out about the college application process. He eventually cheered up after we relaxed a bit at his house, though. We watched "Love Island" and began watching "The Secret Obsession," but we never finished the latter because I had to catch a bus home.

I'm so grateful to have such an amazing boyfriend. Unfortunately, I won't be able to visit him again until winter break. We're a long-distance couple, and we met online. But I'm glad we're able to see each other as much as we do. Until next time!
