The door banged open, revealing Professor Snape.
I quickly turned on my heels, facing the door.
"Potter! Malfoy!" Snape said, gazing at the scene.
We stayed quiet, lowering our wands.
"What is this about?" Snape said strictly.
"We were just arguing." I shrugged, pocketing my wand.
"He was going to jinx me." Malfoy said, I could feel his silent glare on the back of my head.
"Oh were you Potter." Snape looked at me, raising an eyebrow.
"Yes I was. And he was going to jinx me as well." I said innocently.
"Hmph. You started it." Malfoy said, pocketing his own wand and crossing his arms.
"There is no fighting at school. I'm afraid this means detention." Said Snape curtly.
There was a moment of silence.
"Now you both better hurry to the common room, it will soon be night. We don't need a double detention." Snape said, leaving towards (my guess) his office.
Malfoy and I stood silently for a minute.
"This is all your fault." Malfoy finally said, breaking the silence.
I faced him, "well if you had just given me an answer," I said, shrugging. "This wouldn't have happened."
"Oh so now you're blaming me!" Malfoy scoffed.
I blinked.
"Whatever, good night Potter." He mumbled and left.
After some time I headed towards the dungeons, where the Slytherin common room and dormitory was.
I could see Malfoy huddled in a little group in the corner with Crabbe and Goyle, whispering rapidly.
They saw me enter and shot me dirty looks. I rolled my eyes and walked past them towards the the dormitory.
I closed the door behind me, changing into my pajamas and sitting onto my bed.
Well this day ended amazingly.
Were my last thoughts as I lied down and fell asleep.
