I visited Hagrid everyday for the next week. I did homework at Hagrid's, and I told him more about my situation with Hermione.

"All right, thanks Hagrid." I said, placing my now empty mug on the table. "Welcome 'Arry." Said Hagrid, waving cheerily. I pulled on my boots and opened the door. Right in front of me stood Hermione, her hand shaped like a fist, ready to knock on the door. We stared at each other, and she slowly lowered her hand. "Um, hi Harry." She said quietly. "Hello." I replied, just as quiet. I held the door open wider to let her step in, and she entered. I gave Hagrid one last wave and shut the door. I was now back into the freezing cold of December.

Yesterday I had Quidditch practice so I wasn't able to visit Hagrid's, but I intended on going today.

I took a bite out of my pork chop. I ate silently, listening to other people's conversations.

"Hey Harry."

I turned around. Hermione was standing in front of me, holding a plate of crackers. I opened my mouth. Closed it, swallowed, and opened it again. No sound came out. "Hi Hermione." I tried, I probably looked really dumb right now but I ignored that. We were starting to attract a little attention. She motioned her head towards the doors. "Walk with me?"

I nodded. I picked up another pork chop and left the Great Hall with her. I didn't know what to say. I wanted to say something, but I didn't want to ruin anything accidentally. It didn't look as though she wanted to go a certain path, but I stayed in line with her anyway.

"I'm sorry Harry."

I glanced at her, she was watching me. "No, I'm sorry. I overreacted."

She shook her head but didn't answer. She stopped, we were in front of a window. She leaned on the windowsill, gazing out into the evening sky. "I hope we're good again Harry." Hermione said, after moments of silence. "Yeah, I think we're good now." I said hopefully. I turned my head to face the sky. The sky was painted different shades of blue. Blended between the light and dark.

"Cracker?" Hermione offered.

"Thank you." I replied, smiling.
