It was morning. Draco and I left the common room together, we headed to the Great Hall. As we entered, I waved at Ron and Hermione before heading over to the Slytherin table with Draco. I saw him frown a bit as he watched the exchange, but I decided to not think too much about it. I understood that he was still a little salty, maybe he felt left out sometimes.

I nudged Draco with my elbow as we sat and gave him a huge grin, one he returned. We munched our way through all the delicious food before heading to class.

We entered the classroom and found a table together. We looked at the door, kids were starting to come in. We had Transfiguration with the Ravenclaws.

Draco and I laughed so hard when Zabini accidentally turned his book into an animal, it ran around the classroom destroying objects. Professor Mcgonagall looked at us sternly before switching her gaze to Zabini. We were supposed to only transifigure our books into a pillow.

Draco and I were still chuckling when we left the classroom. Zabini looked shy and embarrassed, and we couldn't help but tease.

The next few weeks wore on, and suddenly,  October 31st dawned upon the world. Halloween had come. Draco and I were especially giddy today, and we couldn't help but change our looks a little.

"You want a green eyebrow right?"

I nodded excitedly, I sat a little straighter shook out any nervousness I might've had. I nodded for him to go and he raised his wand, muttering a spell. "Woah." Said Draco, lowering his wand.

I jumped up, I ran towards a nearby miror and stared at my eyebrow in amusement. "I love it." I said, grinning. I turned around to face Draco, before shoving him onto the bed. He laughed before going into a sitting position. "Okay. I'll be turning the ends of your hair red." I proclaimed, taking out my wand and getting ready. "Yes!" Draco said, pumping his fist into the air excitedly before calming himself. I muttered a spell, and the ends of Draco's hair had turned a bloody red. "Wow. Cool." I said, a little in shock. Draco looks so different, even with the tiniest new detail. Draco got up excitedly and ran towards the mirror, carting his hand through his hair while grinning lazily. "Thanks Harry."

"Welcome."

The two of us ran down the dormitory steps, stopping on the last step while people stared at us in amusement.

"Mates! Looking fresh." Zabini said, grinning as he came over. He carted his hand through his hair, "maybe I'll do the same thing to mine."

Draco and I made our way towards the Great Hall, I paused to smile at people as they complimented our looks. We entered the Great Hall, lots of heads turned to face us as we passed by. Hermione and Ron gave me a huge grin and a thumbs up as I took my seat. I sent them a smile back before facing Draco.

He carted his hand through his hair, "this is something I have to get used to."

I laughed, "it's only a night Draco, you'll be fine. Besides, you look good in anything." I felt heat rise up my neck on the last bit, but he didn't look as if he noticed. What Draco was doing was grinning lazily. "Thanks Potter."

Draco switched his attention towards the food, his eyes brightened every time he saw a food he liked. I watched him, my eyes slowly raised towards his hair once more.

His hair looks really soft.

I need to stop thinking that. That's weird. He's my friend. He's a, boy. God. It was wrong, but I really wanted to feel it. To run my hands through his hair, feel how soft it really is.

I couldn't help myself, I reached over and carted my hand through his hair. Only pausing to twist my finger around a single strand. Draco lowered his fork and looked at me, a smile forming on his lips and an eyebrow already raised. I blushed, moving my hand away and switching my gaze towards the food.

"Nice blush, Potter."

"Thanks Malfoy."
