"Harry! Get up!"
A loud banging issued from outside my room. I groaned.
"What was it that I heard boy?"
"Nothing."
"Thats right."
I slowly pushed the covers off my body and got up. I made my way towards the door--i bumped into a couple objects strewn across the floor--and walked towards the kitchen. From the hallway, I could already make out the rich aroma of bacon and eggs. Althought, not as nice as the food from Hogwarts.
I entered the kitchen and took the seat farthest from Dudley's. Dudley now took a liking to using Harry as his punching bag. The Dursleys didn't acknowledge me when entered the room, although Uncle Vernon had started shoving his food down faster. I started shoving my food down so that I could spend less time around the Dursleys than I have to.
I quickly got up as I finished, and made my way back towards my room. I was just taking my first step onto the stairs when I heard someone call my name.
"Harry! Come down here."
I sighed. It was my cousin Dudley.
"You heard him, come down here boy!" Uncle Vernon yelled.
I turned on my feet and stonily made my way back to the kitchen. Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia rushed past me to see the television. "What do you want Dudley?"
Dudley turned in his seat, his mouth still full of bacon. He slowly gulped it all down.
"I heard you talking in your sleep. Someones in loooove."
I willed myself not to turn red. "Oh yeah? What did I say then?"
Dudley cracked his knuckles. "Ohh! Draco!"
I felt myself heat up. I mentally slapped myself.
"Whos Draco then? A bloke?"
"He's...no one."
Dudley cackled evilly. Then he got up and advanced upon me. "Is Draco a little boy you've been playing with?"
"Shut up."
"You like some bloke?"
"I said, shut up."
Dudley laughed, "Draco-"
"Shut up!" I yelled, I pulled my wand quickly out of my pocket. I aimed it menacingly at Dudley. Dudley's look of laughter quickly faded at the sight of my wand. "P-put that away." Dudley stuttered.
"Scared, Dudley?"
"I said--put it a-away!"
At that moment Uncle Vernon barged into the room, probably to inspect the amount of racket we were making. "Put that piece of wood away!" Uncle Vernon roared. I pushed my wand into my pocket and stormed out of the kitchen, stomping my way up the stairs and into my room.
I slammed the door shut and collapsed on the bed. A million thoughts exploded in my mind. Dudley knew about Draco? I was talking in my sleep? I sighed and turned over on the bed. I can't believe this is happening. I'm fretting over a guy.
I silently groaned, rubbing my hands over my face. I can't believe a single guy is making me have these thoughts. Suddenly, an eagle owl flew in from the window. A scroll tied to her leg. I quickly sat up and unrolled it. It was a message from Draco.
My eyes lit up as I read it, and I got a warm feeling inside.
Diagon alley. August 16. Send an answer back with this owl.
I slowly smiled.
