I'm in Pakistan while writing this letter

I'm in Pakistan while writing this letter. Actually, I've been here for a few weeks already, but let me tell you, it's already been a handful.

My relatives are crazy and the politics I have to stick with are kind of driving me crazy. I only have my mother and sisters I can turn to. And my mom's side of the family. But that's about it. Everyone else is literally batshit crazy. Especially my dad's side of the family. I've never met a more damaged family tree than this one. None of my relatives like each other, and it's pretty difficult to see through the fake, but it's there.

When I got here a month ago, I fell really sick. I was nose bleeding a lot and throwing up everything I ate. And I never really ate in the first place because of this.

It was around my uncle's wedding, and my mother was so worried she debated on whether or not we should travel back home ASAP. My dad was worried back in Norway, too, and didn't know how he could help while being so far away.

Anyway, my mother brought me to a hospital, and man, it was crazy. The doctor we met up with was the owner of the hospital himself. He said that if my mother had waited another day with coming to the hospital I'd be dead.

Like without breathing. Can you picture a life where I never existed?

If I'm honest, neither can I.

(I am assuming you can't, and you better not picture a life without me or else I'll haunt you.)

Anyway, I was admitted to the hospital for three days. It was certainly weird because I had already burnt my nose back in Norway so I wouldn't experience intense nose bleeding in Pakistan, but here we are. It didn't work, obviously.

Now here comes the weirdest part. I still laugh about it and whenever my mother tells this story to anyone, I get embarrassed.

The way they stopped the bleeding: a one-dollar worth of shot on my right butt cheek!

Can you even believe it? THAT is what took me to stop my bleeding? Life is so strange and that's so embarrassing. I wish my mother would stop telling this story to everyone she meets. Yet I'm telling it to you, the guy I always want to impress. How convenient for me.

Then again, I'm only sharing this with you because I know you'll never read this.

Yeah. My visit here is fun so far. I like it. I definitely became more confident by staying here. My grandmother thinks so, at least, and she never lies. She also says my siblings and I are too pure for this family. I found that statement really interesting.

Anyway! This has been my summer vacation so far. How has yours been?

Yours truly.

Yours truly
