Amethyst's POV

"Was he the special person you were talking about? That boy you were with just then." I jumped from the sound of Ryder's voice.

"No. Jacob isn't the special person I was talking about. It's someone else. Someone you know so well." I said.

"So, one of my friends?" He asked as I shook my head.

"One of Felix's teammates?" He asked as I shook my head.

He was about to say something when the doorbell rang. I opened it and saw Jacob standing there looking nervous.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Erm...I just wanted to say that I...l-like you. I like you. Will you be my girlfriend?" My eyes widened as I saw some chocolates and flowers in his hand.

"Jacob, I'm sorry but I don't like you that way. We can still stay as friends though. I like someone else and I'm not going to throw away that feeling ever since I had bottled it up since primary. Sorry Jacob." He looked devastated but nodded his head.

"It's alright. I should get going." He said as he ran out of the driveway.

I sighed and closed the door. As I turned around I was faced with a relaxed Ryder.

Just then the doorbell rang again and I opened it.

"Yes? What is it?" I asked them.

"Erm...we wanted to say that we all like you. Who are you going to choose?" I heard Ryder snicker as I glared at him.

"Sorry guys but I already like someone else. There's other girls out there though." I said as they nodded their head.

This went on for ages. Until I had lost my patience.

"No, I don't like you! There's other girls out there!" I shouted breathing heavily in anger.

"Chill, if you didn't like me in the first place then you could've told me. I'll be going." I heard Luca said.

"Wait, Luca. It's not that. Boys from our school has been confessing to me non stop and it was annoying me. I lost my patience and when you rang the doorbell, I thought you were one of the boys. I like you Luca as a friend. I'm sorry I lost my patience on you." I explained as she tackled me in a hug.

"Thank god. I thought you hated me for some reason." She said then pulled away.

"I don't hate you. You're my best friend." I said.

I heard Ryder snicker as I turned around and glared at him.

"You think this is funny? That was nonstop and you were just standing there enjoying the show." I said as he started to contain his laughter.

I kicked him as he did a yip. He ran away as I ran after him. I heard Luca come in and shut the door.

"Mum! Dad! Felix! Amethyst got the whole school confessing to her!" He shouted around the house as I tried to kick him.

We were then stopped when we were pulled back by our collars by his father.

"Stop running around the house. You're 16 and 18. Not 3." His father scolded us.

"Yes sir." I said.

"Yes father." He said.

He let go of us.

"Now, what's with this shouting going on?" He asked.

"Every boy from my school had confessed to me. Ryder thought it was funny so I had kicked him then that was when we ran around the house with him shouting it out." I explained.

"What did you say?" His father asked.

"I rejected them all." He started having a coughing fit.

"Who's talking about rejecting?" His mother asked.

"I rejected every boy from my school." She started having a coughing fit.

"Who rejected who?" Felix asked, holding hands with Luca.

"I rejected every boy in school." I said.

"You're quite a popular girl." Ryder teased as I scowled at him.

"I didn't want the attention in the beginning." I said.

"Wouldn't it be awkward?" Felix asked as I sighed and nodded my head.

"But think about the school newspaper headline." I kicked his shin. "Geez woman. Calm down."

He lightly kicked me in the shin. I scowled at kicked him back. This carried on until we got a karate chop from his mother.

"I swear you guys aren't even acting your age." She said.

We looked at each other, scowling once more before looking away from each other.
