The final day

Alec's pov

A few weeks went by, me and magnus were able to finish the project successfully, in fact it actually turned out pretty well than I expected it to. Currently i'm walking to school with Izzy and Jace, Max goes to a different school and our parents usually drive him to school. Today was the final day we'll be presenting our projects in front of the class. to be honest I was pretty upset that today is the last day i mean me and magnus got along really well but I don't know if he'll still be the same after our project gets completed. What if he just pretended to get along with me just get the project completed?

"Alec!"

"ALEC!!!"

"what is it Izzy!"'will she never stop bothering me'

"heyy! don't give me that look, I was talking to you and you kept zoning out, what the hell is going on!!"

"nothing..?"

"Say something I'll believe alec you've been so lost these past few days what's happening?!"

"He is probably worried he won't able to work with magnus again!!" Jace said with a smirk '*Chokes* what the hell did he just tell' my cheeks turned beet red.

"....Excuse..me??" I replied while Izzy was just staring at me with a smile

"OMG I knew it!!! you have a crush on him don't you?" 'ohh god what am I going to tell them'

"Izzy I don't have a crush on him and besides i'm straight" 'i don't like where this is going'

"oh please alec we both know that you're gay, we were just waiting for you to tell us when you were ready to, but oh god you're taking forever just tell it alec you'll feel better." Jace said. 'but how did they know?'

"Wait so you guys are ok with it?" I asked

"Of course we're okay with it you dumbass why wouldn't we be?" Izzy asked.

"I don't know I thought you guys will hate me if you found out."

"There is no way both of us could hate you, you are our big brother alec and we will love you with all our heart" Izzy tole me.'at this point I felt like crying, I love these two idiots so much'

"I love you guys too"I told them as Jace pulled me for a bone-crushing hug and Izzy joined us.'This is probably the best day of my life'

We reach school and I told goodbye to Izzy and Jace since my classes were on the other block.

I go to my class to find magnus sitting on his desk and he was fidgeting, he looked nervous

"heyy magnus!" I said

"oh heyy alexander" he said with a soft smile 'ohh mann!! I could melt into them'

"are you ok? you look nervous"

"yahh fine, it's just the presentation I was just going through the notes"

"you didn't go through it last night did you?" I asked him. he just shook his head

"why?"

"I'm sorry alec i forgot." He said and looked at me with those puppy eyes. '*sighs* how can anyone be angry at him'

"It's alright as long as you don't mess up because she's not grading us individually, and I really want a good grade."

"don't worry I will try my best." he said with a reassuring smile.

The class had begun and one by one people started coming to give their presentation.

"Magnus bane and Alec lightwood it's your turn to present." Ms.Lovelace called.

"hey it's alright, we'll be great." I said magnus because he looked nervous.

"I hope so.." he replied

We finished our presentation and Ms.Lovelace seemed to like it so I hope we get a good grade.

After the class was over I didn't see magnus again because we only had math and English classes together and we had no english today.

Again I saw him during lunch I was hoping he would sit with me or at least ask me to sit with his friends but he didn't even see me, so I went over to sit with Maia, Izzy and Jace both Izzy's boyfriend Simon and Jace's "girlfriend" that annoying clary was there as well. To be honest it hurt a little but I convinced myself that it was just because he didn't see me.

"hey bud! how did your "presentation" go." jace asked me with an mischievous grin.

"It went well" I replied for which jace smirked and I rolled my eyes.

"So..?" Jace asked, I looked at him confused.

"When are you going to ask him out?" He asked suddenly.

"OMG." Izzy and Maia asked me at the same time (yahh- Izzy and jace told the rest that I was gay and everyone took it really positive which made me really happy)

"Jace can you please SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!" I shouted and for a second the whole hall went silent and I even caught magnus staring at me. I thought I saw jace flinch for a second but he just replied...

"ha-you wish." ' I mean it's jace after all what did I expect' I face palmed myself looking embarrassed because everyone was just staring at me.

The rest of the day went boring as hell. I just wanted to get back home and sleep.

Later that day.

I reached home I took a shower, finished all my home works and currently going through my phone..I thought it would be a nice idea to text magnus

A: Heyy

I got a reply in no time..

M: hey

A: I'm glad we did our presentation well

M: yah me too

A: so what else?

M: nothing much, anyways gtg bye

A: oh ok..byee take care

with that magnus left

'did he not want to talk to me? he seemed so uninterested, I guess I was right magnus just spoke to me to get the project done- I mean why will he talk to me he's got no reason to talk anyways'

I kept my phone and went to sleep, but I couldn't help but think about magnus, i'm really falling for him hard.
