The Carnival

Alec's pov

It was a Saturday which means me and magnus can finally go out, now that his competitions are over, he finally has some free time. There is a carnival being held today and I want to take magnus there, I'm sure it'll be really fun. I got up from my bed and brushed my teeth took a shower and threw on a sweatshirt and jeans and made my way out, there was no use of taming my hair it won't stay anyways so I just went down to have my breakfast. I usual wake early than the rest of them but to my surprise i found everybody in the table. I went and settled myself between Max and Izzy and my parents and Jace occupied the other side of the table. I ruffled max's hair and greeted good morning to all of them and started having my breakfast.

"uhh...mom" I called her.

"yah"

"We don't have any plans today right?" I asked her

"No, honey why?"

"I was wondering if I could attend the Carnival today."I told her and she looked surprised.

"Of course Alec, but what made you attend it this year, I mean we have been forcing you every year to attend this but you refused every single time." My mom asked. It was true I refused to go with Izzy and Max every year because firstly i didn't have any company and secondly that place was filled with people and I'm sick of it. But now I have magnus and i'm pretty sure it will be fun.

"Nothing I just wanted to know what the whole deal was with this whole thing." When I finished telling mom looked a little convinced while Jace and Izzy sent stares across the tables and Jace looked directly at me and smirked and I just rolled my eyes trying to ignore the whole thing, but my dad noticed that

"Ok what is going on?" he asked a little bit annoyed, and Izzy regretted doing it the next second.

"What?" the all three of us asked in unison while max was busy making little shapes out of his noodle

"You three are hiding something aren't you." My dad asked.

"oh! I know, this is about a girl isn't it? " My mom told with an excited voice and Jace almost chocked on his soup 'no mom its a guy a really handsome and extremely hot guy i thought to myself'

"ohh no eww that's gross...i m-mean i just- no i mean i'm just going to hangout with a friend."

"and that will be..?" my dad asked.

"uhh...Magnus." I told him and Izzy just looked at me surprised.

"oh Magnus Bane I remember him you guys used to good friends when you were small, I didn't know you guys were still in contact." My mom recollected and my dad i think he looked relieved although i don't know why.

"yah he rejoined this year and I did the project with him remember?  we just got along, so I'm going to the Carnival with him, that's fine right?"

"oh yah it's perfectly fine." My mom replied smiling. I sighed in relief got up and went to my room to get my phone, I called magnus-

"heyy there." I heard magnus answer the phone I could tell that he just woke up because his voice was still husky and according to me it was so hot!

"Heyy mags you do know about the carnival held today right? I thought maybe we could go there, it'll be fun."

"You mean like a date?" he asked and I could tell that he was smiling.

"yah like a date."  I replied.

"ok cool so I'll come to your house and then we'll go or..?" he asked.

"yahh you can come here and then from here we can book a cab."  i suggested

"ok then see ya in a few hours, don't miss me."

"you know it's hard but I'll try not to." I replied 'god! I suck at flirting'

"bye love you" and with that he hung up the phone .

Just as I cut the call, Izzy barged into my room, opened my closet and stared pulling my clothes out

"Izzy what the hell are you doing?" I asked her clearly confused

"Helping you to pick an outfit, what does it look like I'm doing?" She replied without turning

"I can choose my own outfits and besides I'm just going to wear this"  I told her

"ohh Alec I don't think so." She replied and continued digging into my closet

She finally came with an outfit and I decided to wear that (it's not like I have a choice or anything). She picked an teal hoddie with black jeans, she told me that teal bought out the color in my eyes. I got ready and now was waiting for magnus to arrive. I was just going through my phone and just then I heard the door bell. Magnus.

First of I'm really sorry, I know this chapter is horrible and it was because I was half asleep while writing this...there might be little mistakes because I didn't find time to edit it but I promise ya'll the next chapter will be better anyways don't forget to vote and comment, love you all stay happy:)
