Niel's POV
In the cold weather with the sounds of cars driving past, we just stand there. Very awkwardly. Maybe I shouldn't have told her I liked Jessica but I just really wanted someone to know. Yes, surprise, guys do have feelings too.
"Well, let's start walking back to your house," I say to try and break the silence. I can't stand the silence so I of course have to start the conversation. I realised at the beach and the way she was going off at me at the balcony but, Aria is actually shy. I didn't expect that since the first time I bumped into her, she started yelling her head off. It was pretty funny so I had to go back.
"Okay, we can just go around that corner," she says pointing past me. I nod to let her know I understand. We walk around in silence once more but the atmosphere isn't as tense as before.
We walk the street and we pass North Quay State High school. I heard of its bad reputation but it seems to be getting better and actually seems like a decent school.
"Uhhhhh," Aria moans. She squints her eyes closed like she didn't want to see.
"What?" I ask curious.
"School, my school. It's the quickest way home but I still don't want to think about it on the weekend," she explains. So, it's her school eh? Interesting.
"Is it good?" Maybe I can actually have a conversation with her even if it's about school.
"Yeah, it is except for the part where you have to do...you know, school work," she points out. I let out a laugh at her remark.
"No, but seriously, it's good but people don't think it's good because of its reputation but it's honestly a really good school," she tells me.
"Do you walk to school? You seem to know the way well." Hey, it could be important information.
"Yeah I do but not on rainy days. I get picked up since I don't won't to get wet and the park gets all slushy and gross."
We walk past the front gates, I'm guessing, and Aria tells me this is where she gets in and out.
When we get to the park, I wipe the water off and sit on a bench but Aria whines and tells me she really needs to get home. I find it amusing how she genuinely is a good person. Before she can protest even further, I grab her by the wrist and force her to sit with me.
"I know you can't see much, but I always like looking up to the sky and watching the stars and moon. Also, clouds during the day are also cool to watch," I say lifting my head to see.
She also looks up and I swear I saw her eyes sparkle.
"You know I've always wanted to go to the country side or something and just go there to see the stars. City lights are nice to look at too but then you can't see as many stars," I confess.
Just as I finish, I feel a weight on my shoulder. I look over to see Aria sleeping. She must have been really tired but I had to go drag her out.
"You should've told me."
I stand up careful not to let her fall on the chair and lift her up so she's secured in my arms. How do they do this in movies? It's really hard and you have to be careful not to touch their butt. Sure you can see this as romantic from one perspective but when you're actually holding them by supporting their back and holding up their legs, it's pretty damn hard.

I successfully find my way back to her house using my phone. I may have had to put her down on benches (Don't worry I made sure they were dry, enough) to take a break and look up her house on maps but nevertheless, I made it.
