Lifting her head to gaze at him, Nnadia's mouth dropped. 'This can't be real.' she thought to herself. She was staring and it was obvious. He stared back at her.

For a few moments, her mind was blank. Realizing how wrong she had been about his looks. This was the most handsome man she had ever seen. More handsome than her favorite crush Alexander Dreymon. He had a face that could make women fall at his feet. With brown eyes that were so intense, you could get lost in them. His skin tone was a bit fairer than the normal brown skin.

Nnadia got up with the intention of escaping to her room, he stood then, and she felt dwarfed. He was a foot taller than she was and broad.

Even though he just wore a grey T-shirt and jeans, he looked sophisticated.

He leaned closer and she stiffened.

" You know a few weeks ago my mom told me that she was going to get me married to the most beautiful girl in the world. Until I saw you, I really thought she was joking."

He told her with his mouth curving in a smile.

Bowing her head, she tried hiding the blush on her face from his intense gaze.

" Congrats!" He spoke again. " I heard you graduated a few months back."

" Thanks and please excuse me." was all she could bring herself to say.

Turning away from him she left quickly to her room.

" Unbelievable! Abdullah said to himself in awe. She is so beautiful and yet so simple."

The way her dress clung to her curves and when she turned to leave, he realized Kim Kardashian had nothing on her. She had a petite frame with perfect curves. She is very shy though, he thought to himself.

Another thing he noticed was that she maintained her natural hair and had no makeup on her. Something very rare these days in African women. He liked everything about her already.

Back in her room, Nnadia paced up and down trying her best to calm her nerves.

" If he is this handsome, educated and very rich. Why is he agreeing to an arranged marriage then?"

She spoke a little bit loudly to herself. Something must definitely be wrong. If she was wrong about his looks then it must be about his health. She was very sure he was sick, if not in his brain then definitely in his body. Or maybe he is just a notorious womanizer whose mom is trying hard to get him to settle down.

" But he had a strong profile that easily intimidated her." She went on thinking. Whatever it is, she was certain she wouldn't let herself be fooled.

After what seemed like hours she heard her mom calling out for her.

" Nnadia, where are you? "

Summoning enough courage to face him again she left her room.

" We are about to leave, my dear."

Her mother in law informed her when she reached the living room and found them ready to leave.

" I would like it if you could visit me tomorrow. That is if you don't have anywhere else to be. "

" She doesn't." Her mother cut in.

" I will definitely come, aunty, '' she replied.

" Abdullah, will you please come get her in the morning?" She heard her ask her son.

" Would love to but you know that I'm meeting the VP at nine am mom." Replied Abdullah.

" Excuses." Nnadia's thoughts drifted.

" We are not even married yet and he is busy finding ways to ignore me. Not that I have any intention of being in the same car with him anyway." She murmured.

" Oh my, I totally forgot." His mom's reply brought her out of her thoughts.

" I will send a driver then." She concluded.

When they got outside her house, Nnadia blinked twice. "Is that a freaking Ferrari? " She asked herself.

She knew they were rich but not to this extent. After saying their goodbyes, mother and son left for their car and she stood with her mom waiting for them to leave before heading back inside.

A few moments later she saw Abdullah coming their way. He stopped right in front of her and asked politely.

" Can I please have your number?"

Her eyes met with that of her mother's, whose one look was enough to melt her.

She nodded and was about to call out her number loudly when he simply handed her his phone. It was a gorgeous black iPhone XS Max. She quickly typed in her number and gave it back to him.

" I will call you when I get home." He whispered loud enough for her to hear and then turned to leave. She stood there with adrenaline racing all over her body.
