Nnadia woke up early in the morning, by the sound of the adhan. Her gaze fell on her husband who was cuddling her in his sleep. She was supposed to wake him up for prayer but she also didn't want to separate herself from him anytime soon. She allowed herself a brief moment of intimacy with him.

Nnadia slowly brought her face to his, as she kissed his rosy looking lips softly. She fell more in love with him with every breath she takes. Nnadia felt herself deepen the kiss without even realizing it. Abdullah who had no choice but to wake up from his wife's romantic escapades wrapped his hands around her waist more tightly. Their tongues mingled like rice and hot sauce in a hungry mouth. The kiss turned into deep foreplay and before they knew it, they were making love.

" I'm so sorry for being too hard on you," Abdullah said an hour later when they were still catching their breaths.

" I'm not complaining, am I?" Nnadia replied with a slight blush.  " Truth be told, that's exactly how I like it."

" But you cried. I mean you even said that you couldn't bear it. So what are you saying now?"  Abdullah asked, surprised.

" Me? Cried. Silly man. I wasn't crying at all. Are you saying this is the first time you've heard me moan from your touch?" Nnadia asked back teasingly.

" My touch?" Abdullah asked, as realization dawns on him. " Wait, wa.. aitt.....hahahahaha..." Abdullah couldn't control himself, so he continued laughing. Nnadia opened her mouth from shock. She couldn't understand what was wrong with her husband.

" Why are you laughing? There's nothing funny here that I know of." She said irritatedly.

" Haaa......hahahaha." Abdullah went on clutching his stomach. " Wifey....haha... Wifey please forgive me, but your mind is filthy as f**k!"

Staring at him curiously, Nnadia asked. " Why? What crime has my mind committed now?"

Still chuckling lightly, Abdullah replied. " I was apologizing for my behavior towards you these past few days. And you, my innocent wife, only think about sex." He started laughing again.

Blushing hard. Nnadia bit her lips and looked down. Abdullah was still laughing and she felt more irritated.

" Oooh...  Ooo! Hubby stop it, please. I don't like anyone making fun of me." Nnadia said, pouting her lips."

" Okay. Okay, Madam innocent mind. Let's go shower and pray before the sun comes up." Abdullah replied, finally able to control his laughs.

" Okay. But don't laugh at me again or else." Nnadia warned, poking her finger at his chest.

" I promise," Abdullah replied with a cute smile on his face.

" Don't smile either," Nnadia said with a frown.

" I thought you said you liked it when I smiled?" Abdullah asked teasingly.

" Right now, I don't like anything on you that resembles a laugh," Nnadia told him with irritation as she left for the bathroom.

Aware of the envious glances which were being cast her way, Nnadia held onto her husband's hand tightly as they sat for breakfast.

" Good morning, handsome." She heard Maria say in a sing-song voice.

" Morning, bro." Amina also said to him.

" Good morning, ladies. I hope you had a wonderful night?" Abdullah replied.

" Yes, we did," Maria replied rather quickly.

" Good." Abdullah murmured.

Nnadia felt slightly awkward as the two ladies ignored her and then her husband staring at her with expectation. ' He doesn't expect me to greet them now does he?'

The mere thought of it disturbed her. Well, if that's really what he wanted, then she'll do it. Anything for him. She met his gaze and smiled.

" Good morning, Amina, Maria," Nnadia said quietly.

None of them replied. Sighing heavily, Abdullah spoke.

" Amina."

" Yes, bro." She replied quickly.

" Didn't your wife just greet you? Are you still angry with her? Listen. She is pregnant and you have to be extra patient. Believe me, she riles me up sometimes too." He tried explaining to Amina. " And you too Maria, you're supposed to be advising Amina to be patient, but I see that you're joining her. Nnadia is not only her wife but is also younger than the both of you. Please." He told them quietly.

" It's alright bro. I forgive her." Amina said with a fake smile.

" Yeah. Me too." Maria added.

Nnadia rolled her eyes at their hypocrisy.

" Alhamdulillah. I'm so relieved." Abdullah finally said.

They continued with their breakfast after that. Maria never missed a chance to chat and playfully flirt with Abdullah. Nnadia had to remain quiet because she didn't want to start another fight. Her naive husband never stopped flashing her beautiful smile that never ceased to melt her heart.

She still held on to his hand as she escorted him to the door.

" Be good, okay. Eat a lot and take your vitamins on time." He told her while sweetly cupping her face with his free hand.

" Don't worry hubby, I'm going to spend the day with mom. She worries even more than you do. I'm sure that she is going to feed me till I can't take it anymore." Nnadia replied with a smile.

" Good. Then go change, I'll take you there myself." Abdullah said, shocking her.

" Really? Won't you get late driving from Aberdeen to CalabaTown and then back to Wilkinson road?" Nnadia asked him curiously.

" I hate to remind you, but I do happen to own the company where I work." He replied with a smirk. Nnadia only shook her head and left him there to change her clothes.

" Hubby please park the car and get me those roasted cashew nuts that they're selling over there," Nnadia said pointing her finger across the street.

" Okay baby," Abdullah replied, parking his car on the side of the road.

" Make sure that they're not too badly roasted or else I don't want it," Nnadia yelled when he was halfway out of the car. Abdullah only chuckled in response.

Not long after, he was back with exactly what she had asked for. Ecstatic, Nnadia grabbed the paper bag from him and started munching immediately. Their gaze met and Abdullah smiled at her.

" I love watching you eat like this." He said to her sweetly.

" I will get you anything you want, all you have to do is enjoy it."

Nnadia smiled at him brightly and replied.

" I know."
