The next day ....

" That's crazy what your parents are going through , I feel so bad for your mom" Aaliyah said into the phone. Her and Sehkani has started talking again, but this time on a friend level.

" She was crying so hard last night, that shit broke my heart... I hope she never goes back to my dad  " he said.

The Apple doesn't fall too far from the tree Aaliyah thought to herself

" Have you tried to talk to her about it ?" Aaliyah asked. They were in the middle of a deep conversation and she was finally getting Sehkani to open up. He felt comfortable venting to her. These past couple of days Aaliyah had been really busy and they were finally getting to talk

" Nah, ima' wait " Sehkani said laying in his bed playing in his hair " I can't stand to see her cry so ima' wait a little, I know she probably wondering how I feel about it "

" How do you feel ?" She asked

" I feel like all that shit was fucked up " Sehkani replied " My mom-

" Hold up " Aaliyah said cutting him off, Sehkani sucked his teeth and waited, she came back to the phone " I'm sorry.. I gotta go, ima call you back later "

" Why it feel like every time I try to talk to you , you got some other shit goin on " he said " youn never got time for me "

" I know, I'm sorry but I really have to go. I'll call you later okay?" Aaliyah said with a frown

" Whatever " Sehkani replied, attitude laced in his voice. He hung up the phone before she could even respond and threw his phone on the bed. This is why he didn't like opening up to people, he felt like every time he needed somebody to talk to nobody was ever there for him but he was always there for everybody else. He hated how Aaliyah was always busy and he only wanted to talk to her

An hour later he pulled up infront of Aaliyah's house and parked his car. She came outside and they talked

" I'll come get you early tomorrow so we can get breakfast before school " Sehkani said while checking his phone

" My mom isn't home, can you stay for a little, I don't want to be home by myself " she said nervously

Sehkani looked around " Alright " he said, he unbuckled his seat belt and got out the car. They walked to the house and Aaliyah let him inside. Her dog, Buddy began to bark loudly. She turned on the light and he ran up to her, he was a small chihuahua and he was wearing a blue doggy shirt, Sehkani hated little dogs.

Aaliyah picked the small dog up " Say hey Buddy " she smiled holding him in her arms, the dog continued to bark

" I'll kick the shit out of that little nigga " Sehkani said looking at the dog like it disgusted him

" Don't do my baby like that " Aaliyah laughed hugging her dog before putting him on the floor, he ran away to his cage and Aaliyah led Sehkani to her room

Her room was cute, the colors were black, grey and red and she had a bunch of Tupac, Kendrick Lamar, j cole and biggie posters on her wall. A few clothes laid here and there on the floor. She kicked off her boots and took off her hoodie before crawling in bed. Sehkani took off his shoes before getting in bed with her, she grabbed her remote and turned on ' pretty little liars ' on netflix. They laid in bed, she slowly cuddled up under him. She loved the smell of him and how he jumped a little at her touch. She looked up at him, he was so cute to her. She knew she said they would only be friends but she couldn't help herself, she gently kissed his plump lips and they both chuckled a little. She sat up and straddled his lap, they looked at each other.
