I woke up to the horrible sounds and gags of...
Andrew vomiting.
I jumped out of the "bed" and saw him crouched near the ground next to the car while holding his stomach.
" ANDREW ARE YOU OK!!" I panicked.
" I'm fine." He said before letting everything out.
" We have to go right now this was a bad idea!!!"
He chuckled to himself and grabbed my wrist and finally met my eyes.
" It's ok don't panic take a breath."
His face was so pale and his eyes were heavy with sleep. I felt tears threatening to fall.
" No! Don't cry!" He worried while wrapping his arms around me.
" I'm so stupid I'm not crying," I assured.
I grabbed onto him so tightly and made sure he was ok.
" We have to drive back."
" April I'm fine, really."
" Nope we're leaving right now I'm driving lay down."
I crossed my arms and waiting for him to finish.
We packed everything up, he layed in the back while I was driving back where we came from. Everytime I stopped I looked down to see his gentle eyelids close. His lips were slightly parted.
He was perfect
I smiled to myself everytime the thought of him came up. I drove for hours nonstop, I was not going to stop until I got there. By 6 a.m I was at the hospital.
" Andrew! We're home!!" I whispered while poking his shoulder.
He slowly opened his eyes, the moment he saw me they widened.
" What the hell did you do!?" He laughed.
" What do you mean?"
" You look so tired? Did you sleep?"
" Um.... Yes?" I lied.
He crossed his arms as he stood in a sitting position.
" April you should've slept you look extremely tired!" He chuckled again.
" And you extremely sick!!!" I retorted.
" Fine fine You win," he agreed.
We sat in the waiting room while Andrew entered by himself.
I looked at the clock until Andrew came back out. He held the prescription in his hand while he walked to me.
I stood up quickly, " What is it!?"
" It's just a virus I'm fine," he chuckled.
" Ok good let's get your medicine."
" I'm not a baby April!!!" He groaned.
" Are you sure about that," I teased.
" STOP IT!!"
I laughed and continued driving. I finally drove him home.
" Take care ok, I'll come visit you later," I assured.
He smiled, "Awww you still care about me!!"
" Don't flatter yourself," I groaned while rolling my eyes.
" I'll see you later!!"
I sat in the car until he was out of sight. I closed my eyes and heard the quick pace my heart was beating surprisingly fast.
Andrew's POV
I closed the door and ran to the bathroom, letting my stomach empty itself.
I turned on the shower and stepped into the warm water. I felt my hair absorb the water. I looked at the ground and closed my eyes. The image of April's sparking eyes burned in my memory. Her soft smiles she gave me melted me.
I don't think the meds helped I think it was April. My cheeks warmed up at the thought of her driving all night to make sure I didn't die.
It made me so incredibly happy that she wanted to see me. I sighed,
Why did I have to get sick today!?!? I was going to spend the whole day with her??!?!
I punched the wall and took a deep breath just like April would do.
April, April, April.....
She was all I could think about, who could blame me?
