necessities

The week passed really slowly but I survived until today, Friday.

    I was getting out of class when I saw that Andrew was waiting patiently infront of my locker.

    " Hey what took you so long!?" He chuckled.

   " My teacher she was checking stuff."
   
    " So it's  Friday," he said while rubbing the side of neck," Maybe we can go out..."

   I closed my locker and looked at him," Sure where to?"
  
    " I don't know where do you want to go?" He asked.

   " Hey hey no you asked, you come up with the place," I said shaking my head.

    " I don't know at all I was hoping you had an idea?" He groaned.

    " What if," I started," We start driving and stop in a random place?"
  
   He frowned," what do you mean?"

   " Well what if we get in your car and drive in a random direction and stop after some time?"

   " Hmm I don't know?"

  " Neither do I."

   " I like the idea but what if we get lost?"

   " Are you really that scared? There's something called google maps," I laugh.

   He thought about it for a second, " Sure let's go pack the necessaries and I'll pick you up in one."

   I nodded and ran out the door trying to get the most out of the hour.

   I busted into the house, " Hey mom can I take a road trip with my friend?" I asked while breathing heavily.

   " Honey it's late I-"

   " It's ok please mom please!!" I begged.

   " Where are you going? When are you coming back?"
 
   I had no idea

   " Well actually can I spend the night?"

  She raised her eyebrows, " What if something happens?"

   " Mom you can track my phone plus do you really think I'll be out there doing drugs and we'll be extra careful," I explained.

   " Um fine but do you have money?"

   I nodded.

  " Um fine go but when are you leaving?"

    " Like at 4."

   " Fine fine I trust you!!!"

   I ran away before she changed her mind.

   I packed somethings and money my mom gave me some more for gas. By the end of the hour I had a decent bag of stuff.

    I was about to check my phone when I heard the honk of the car.

  I pecked out my window and saw Andrew waiting in his car.

   " I'm leaving mom I'll call you when we're there and when we're near, thanks I love you!!" I cheered and gave her a hug before skipping out the door and hopping into Andrew surprisingly clean car.

   " Wow we're really doing this aren't we?" He sighed.

   " You only live once," I added.

   He turned to face me with the biggest smile," How about we buy some snacks?"
