We finished eating and I payed. The drive home was very awkward and uncomfortable. It was already late and dark so I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

I felt a tap on my shoulder so I opened my eyes slightly. It was a very tired Andrew.

" We're here."

" Ok."

I opened the door and got out. I was going to the door when I felt a hand on my wrist.

" Wait," whispered Andrew.

He pulled me back and grabbed both my hands in his.

I looked up to him, I looked I to his brain eyes that reflected the stars above us.

I curled my eyebrows and waited for him to speak.

He sighed," um I.. thank your for coming."

"Oh yeah."

He let my hands fall. So I placed them on my thighs.

I waved and walked into the door.
I sighed and went to my room.

I flipped onto my bed,I felt dirty so I showered. Then I spent an hour on Insta. My eyes drooped.

What was all that with Andrew?

I got a message

Andrew: gn

Me: gn

I went to sleep.

The next day was Sunday and I wanted to die. I felt horrible.

I was so bored and I dreaded Monday.

I got a message and I ran to my phone but instead of what I was looking for it was from Grayson.

Grayson: want to come to my place tm

Me: idk

Grayson: tell me

Me: yup

I felt bad for saying how I felt to Andrew and I wish I could take it back.

I heard a knock on the door so went to open it when instead of being my mother it turned out to be Andrew .

" Mo- Andrew! What are you doing here?" I said nervously.

" Oh I'm sorry I just wanted to tell you about the Halloween dance you have to come with me."

" Whoa wait right there, I HAVE to??"

" People will know that we aren't dating!"

" Why do you even want to avoid her so much? Just hook her up to another guy or decline, she won't kill you."

He scoffed, " I'll take that as no or, I don't want to go with you fix your own problems." He turned around and slammed the door.

After I opened it again he was gone.

Shoot where did he go ugh.

I mentally cursed and grabbed a sweater from the couch and ran out. I went near his home.

I ran and saw Andrew sitting at the steps of his house.

I sat down and caught my breath. He looked at me, waiting for me to speak.

" I didn't mean it that way."I said.

" Then what did you mean?"

" I don't know but I regret it I just want to be friends like always."

" I get it if you don't want to help me it's fine."

" Andrew.... I never say that you caught me at a bad time."

" Still."

" Listen I'll go with you if you stop acting like a baby."

He smiled and looked up," Deal."

" What are we going to wear?"

" We'll go shopping tomorrow!"

" I can't Grayson wanted me to work on the project."

" Oh that ass."

I chuckled," Don't worry I'll just do it by myself and I'll work with him during lunch."

" Yay!" He cheered.

" I better get home."

" I'll go with you."

" It's still early and-"

" I said I'll go with you."

" Fine." I sighed knowing I would win the argument.

He stood up and held his hand out for me to hold.

We walked for a good 2 minutes.

" Hey um about the other day I'm sorry I didn't mean to force you into saying your feelings." He apologized.

" Oh yeah it's fine I get it and it's fine."

" Ok." We walked more.

" Is it me or does it smell like updog in here."

I smiled knowing the reference," What's up dog?"

" Nothing and you?"

We smiled at each other and he looked down and smiled.

" So you watch the office now?"

" I respect your opinions."

" Ah thank you, it's good though right!?" I said enthusiastically.

" Yeah I kind of love it a lot at first I thought it was bad but the more I got to get to know it and talk... I mean watch the more I liked it!"

" Know and talk?" I chuckled confused.

" It's and analogy?"

" Ok sure."

Andrew seemed weird as if he was talking about a person.

When we arrived I opened the door," Want to come in?"

" Sure."

" My mom is working but she's normally here, oh wait we schedule changed last week."I explained closing the door.

" oh cool?"

" What do want to do?"

" Um I don't know?"

" Are you hungry?"

" Not that much."

" You want to watch a movie?"

" No let's watch the office!"

I smiled and sat on the couch with Andrew. " You know me too well."

We watched like 6 episodes until he got a call.

" Aw you're going to miss stress relief part 2!" I warned.

" Yeah pause it."

He went to the kitchen and came back five minutes later.

" All good?" I asked.

" Actually I have to go."

" Oh ok bye see you tomorrow to shop!"

He waved and went out the door but it didn't stop me from watching.

I picked up the call again," What do you mean she's coming?"
