I sighed as I closed the door of my house.
" Who was that?" Asked my mother.
" Mom did you see?!"
She chuckled, " Oh honey I hear you when you come home!"
" Mom!!" I covered my face with my hands to hide my cheeks.
" I'm sorry honey."
" Don't ever do that again!"
" So how was your date?"
" It was awesome mom!"
" That's great!"
" I'm going to bed mom," I said.
She nodded. I was halfway up the stairs when she spoke.
" Wait, April what happened with Andrew?"
I sighed and walked back down.
" I liked him."
" Well then you would probably love his girlfriend."
" I'm so sorry April."
" It's ok mom I'm with Grayson," I reassured.
She smiled, " Well then sleep well."
I hugged her and jumped into my bed.
Then I fell asleep
Dream...
I checked my phone it was a message
Andrew: I'm outside hurry up!
Me: coming
I went outside and saw Andrew smiling at me.
" Good morning April!"
" Good morning,"
We walked together and stopped at Jessie's for a coffee.
" Two iced vanilla coffees please," ordered Andrew.
We grabbed out bamboo straws and sipped the delicious liquid.
We smiled and walked to school. We were still 2 hours early so we watched the office on my phone.
" Hey April?" Asked Andrew.
" Yes?" I responded.
" Did you know that I love you so much?"
I felt myself blush.
" Hey Andrew did you know that I do too?"
We both smiled.
End of dream
I woke up the next morning and I still remember every detail of my dream. It felt so real I almost wished it was real.
Why did I dream of Andrew?
It brought me a sense of nostalgia that it hurt.
I missed it.
I missed him.
I sighed and got ready for school. I didn't feel like breakfast and I sure as hell didn't want to talk to anyone.
It was cool so I wore a hoodie. Then I walked to Jessie's.
There he was, Andrew. He had the same clothes from my dream which was so weird. Then we made eye contact.
I stood behind him in line.
" Hey can I have two vanilla iced coffees please?" He asked.
Ok now this is weird why is it the same?
He turned around at me and smiled.
" You wanted a vanilla iced coffee right?" He chuckled.
I nodded still amazed by the events in my dreams.
" Here," he handed me the coffee.
" Hey um thanks."
" Let's go to school?"
" Sure," I mumbled.
We both walked under the dead trees.
" How's life?" He asked.
I shrugged, " It's been alright, how about you?"
" It's been bad I really miss this random person."
I chuckled, " Me too but I don't think I can talk to this person like I used to."
" Well I wish I could tell my person that I'm am so sorry and I need them in my life," he confessed.
" I wish I could tell this unimportant person that their mistake hurt me more than I thought even though I tried to deny it. And that even after what they did I want to talk to them."
" Me too like I need to talk to them!" He chuckled.
That damn smile, why does it still melt me.
"Oh my god didn't I tell you that YOU are that unimportant person that I want to talk to?"
" REALLY NO WAY!" he said sarcastically.
" But seriously Andrew text me later," I said before heading to class.
He nodded and did that thing that soldiers do where they flatten their hands out and move it from their heads out.
When I entered the room the only person there was Grayson.
I smiled at him while talking a seat next to him.
" Hey baby," he said.
" Hi what's brings you here so early?" I asked.
" Well I wanted to see you," he blushed.
" So cute," I whispered.
He grabbed my coffee and sipped from it casually.
" Why didn't you bring me one?" He pouted.
" I'll make sure to bring you one tomorrow Andrew brought me that one," I giggled.
But he looked pissed.
" Why the fuck did he buy you it?" He groaned.
" Grayson it was only a kind gesture he's my friend."
He swung his arm and dropped the coffee on the floor.
" Didn't you forget what he did to you?"
I avoided eye contact, " Yes but it's no use to stay mad at him."
" April please."" Grayson I'm sorry but he's my friend and I'm not going to stop talking to him."
" Hell no what if just wants you back?!"
" Grayson you know we're together right?"
He sighed and took a seat.
" Yeah...."
I kissed his cheek, " But first clean up that coffee."
" Sorry," he mumbled.
" You owe me another one."
