Napamulat si Tasha sa kamay na humahaplos sa kanyang buhok.
On her blurry vision ay nakita niya ang magandang mukha ni Ethan na nagmamasid rin sa mukha niya.
Awtomatikong napangiti siya rito.
"Good morning, sweetheart. What should be our itinerary for today?" bati nito sakanya.
Isa'ng ungol ang pumakawala sa kaniyang bibig at bumaling sa kabilang bahagi ng higaan at nagbalot ng kumot.
"Inaantok pa ako, Ethan. I feel so tired." she said murmuring.
She felt a kiss behind her head. "Ba't ka ba napapagod? We just kissed all night. Di naman tayo..." naramdaman niya'ng uminit ang magkabilang pisngi sa sinabi nito.
Biglang nawala ang antok niya at humarap dito. "Stop teasing me, Ethan. Ang aga-aga pa. Magbiro ka na sa lasing, wag lang sa bagong gising. Pamilyar ba sayo ang quote na yan?"
Umiling ito biglang sagot.
"Nakatira lang sa America, nagkaka-ganiyan na." she mockingly responsed.
But to her surprise, he just laughed it off. "You never fail to make me smile, Tash. You're one adorable, grumpy woman."
Bigla siya nito'ng kinabig ng yakap. "I really like you. And...
I'm sorry."
Sorry? She might have not heard it right.
Though she understood the words "I like you", she was quite confused by his sudden "sorry".
Di niya pinansin ang isang sinabi nito at mas nag-focus sa huli. "Sorry? For what, Ethan?" Kumawala na siya sa yakap nito.
He lovingly looked at her. "Just... sorry."
Why does she feel there's something wrong? He maybe likes her, but she can sense the guilt in his voice.

Naputol ang pag-uusap nila nang biglang may nag-doorbell sa room nila. "Housekeeping!"
Lumingon ulit siya rito. "Dine-out tayo for breakfast?" Aya niya.

Sa isang french restaurant naisipang mag-agahan nina Ethan at Natasha. Since pareho silang walang ganang mag rice ay nag-tinapay na lang sila.
"You know, Tash. Since I left and came back from America, I've never felt this happy." Ethan opened up. "So thank you. It's nice being here in Baguio with you." ginagap nito ang dalawang kamay niya.
Nahihiyang binawi niya ito rito. "You deserved a break, Ethan. I'm sure you were a lot stressed at work and sa pag-aasikaso ng renewal of vows ng parents mo."
"Well, yeah. There's still a lot of business I'll have to attend to pag-uwi natin. But you shouldn't be worrying about it, we'll see each other again by the time of my parents' wedding." he assured her.
