For once in forever, more than two people were talking inside the limo. Ayato was talking to Kira and surprisingly, she wasn't cursing or frowning.

Kanato and Elsa were talking about sweets of various kinds. Laito was flirting with Milan while she blushed and tched. Amethyst was telling Shu about her cat called Frost while Shu listened with a closed eyes and a smile.

Reiji and Elma sat in silence. Reiji was reading a book on Molecular Biology while Elma messaged her cousins, Jax and Lucy. Subaru had his arms crossed while he looked through the window, to see the surroundings.

Layla on the other hand was engaged in a conversation with Evelyn, Yui and Adrien.

Evelyn was too engaged in the conversation to notice that something was different from her usual behavior.

Unfortunately for her her brothers noticed.

'Cupcake has never smiled like that to others'

'Does Hana-chan like him'

'Such joy. Could it be a possibility that she may like him'

'Has Kawaii-Chan fallen for him'

'Sweet-chan has never smiled like that for any boys except us'

'How-- Tch, a monster like me shouldn't care'

'I hope that Evelyn and him end up together. They'd be a cute couple'

Unknown to all of the brothers, Evelyn could hear their thoughts.

Wait a minute, they think that I like him. Even Reiji-nii. How could they assume that without any proper evidence.

I act like this with them and all my friends. I know that they are all protective but still.

"Hey Evelyn, what's your favorite song?" asked Yui. Before I could reply, Adrien cut me off. "It's Senorita by Camilla Cabello and Shawn Mendez," said Adrien.

Yui looked in awe at Adrien and I. "Wow, you two know a lot about each other," she observed. I smirked. "Of course we do. Adrien and I are best friends. We've been best friends since a young age because Adrien's father, Gabriel Agreste, is friends with my father."

Yui's eyes brightened up instantly. "Wait, are you telling me that you are the son of the Gabriel Agreste," said Yui while stars twinkled in her eyes.

Adrien nodded and she squealed like a fangirl. "I admire your father so much. His work is great!" she squealed out. I couldn't help but laugh at her. She looked so adorable.

We continued to talk about Adrien's life for a bit then the limo stopped, signalling that we had arrived at our destination.

We got out and I couldn't believe my eyes. In front of us was yards of grass a small cobblestone path. I looked to Kira and saw her grinning like a madman.

In her hand was a picnic basket. "Come on everyone, let's go to our final destination," said Milan. I happened to notice that her hand was wrapped in Laito's hand.

To be honest a small part of me died with joy at the sight of that. At least Milan And Kira have people who can take the heat of their personalities.

We walked in sweet silence for a while. Quite frankly I enjoyed it. The birds chirped around us, creating a beautiful melody. The air was clear and smelled sweet because of the wild flowers growing left, right and centre.

The scenery was also beautiful and the fact that the sun was setting only enhanced the Beauty of it all.

After a while we finally reached the spot. In front of us was a clear lake. Trees of various sizes, colours and species surrounded the pond. A few animals were drinking water from the lake.

In the middle of the lake was two tall trees. Their leaves had clearly fallen off ages ago. Due to the sun setting, the sky was a beautiful mixture of different shades of purple, pink and orange.

"Welcome to Milan's, Layla's and my safe spot," said Kira. For the rest of the day we enjoyed ourselves and had fun. We only left around midnight.
