Childhood

~

"The childhood of one doesn't decide what makes their future...its the choices they make then, after, and in the far future"

The sky was lit up brightly.
The sweet smell of fresh cherry blossom filled the spring air, underneath sat two kids.

They were giggling, enjoying life.
They're smiles were full of joy, full of wander and purity. Something most can't have anymore, making the time of being a child so much more important.

"Jungkook-ah! Come over here!" A voice spoke happily "coming, Tae!" The youngest spoke, his tiny legs running  at the elder, giggles escaping.
"Wah- you almost ran right into me!" Taehyung spoke with a giggle "Sorry price Tae" Jungkook smiled "My dad says someday it will be king Taehyung" Taehyung smiled "could you imagine! I could have as much candy as I want, I could even ask for thousands of puppies!" Taehyung giggled happily.

"It sounds like a lot of fun, I mean look at your castle! It's like the literal place in all those stories!" The younger spoke with a bright bunny smile on his face "I know, it's crazy- I sometimes imagine a story, and since I already have a castle- I can be right in the story..then my dad says it's not 'proper'...do I secretly do it" Taehyung giggled "And you don't get caught?" Jungkook asked "no, I'm sneaky! I'm good at hiding things from them" Taehyung giggled "that's so Awesome" Jungkook spoke while standing up, and grabbing Taehyungs hand

"let's go~"

"Where?" Taehyung asked

"Anywhere you want to!" The youngest replied

"Anywhere?"

"Anywhere!"

"How about the hidden playground?" Taehyung asked "wouldn't your dad get mad..we've almost gone many times before and haven't Tae..." The younger replied "not if he doesn't know" Taehyung giggled "if he doesn't know he can't feet mad can he" Taehyung replied

The two made it to the playground.
It was not quite to rusty, but the metal had age.
It held a slide, a bridge, and swings.
It wasn't huge but to two small, young kids, it meant everything to them.

"Kookie....will you ever leave me" Taehyung asked "of course not!" Jungkook spoke "I'm wandering if you would- my dad isn't the nicest to you" Taehyung sighed "It's okay, as long as I get to see you, he can say anything!" Jungkook giggled "I promise Tae, I'll never leave you" Jungkook spoke holding out his pinkie

"Promise" he spoke before the two pinkie promised "I promise to not leave you too!" Taehyung smiled.

"Never"

The two spend hours together, the sun beginning to set slowly "what do you think we'll be like when we're older Tae" Jungkook asked "I don't know, maybe we'll be even more best friends, maybe- maybe we're out of the castle and I don't have to be king, and we can just go and do whatever we want" Taehyung spoke "that sounds insane...dont you have to do your duties?" Jungkook asked "yeah...but I hate the idea of my job hurting people..I don't want to do that to anyone" Taehyung sighed "You won't hurt anyone Tae" Jungkook smiled "Your a good person, and you'll make the right choices, and I'll be right there to help you no matter what" Jungkook spoke

"Yeah...how that worked out" Taehyung sighed letting tears run down his face "Your gone, and it's...all- all my fault"
