the ark was unyielding and uncaring to second children, so octavia blake was a secret that the family of three kept.

octavia was the only person he ever truly cared about. bellamy would do anything for her. risk it all.

and he did.

but when he got to the ground and met a stubborn brunette with a keen eye for figuring out what makes people tick, everything he thought he knew turned upside down.

he felt himself change. he learned how to care about someone in a way he never experienced. he wanted to protect her.
