Epiloge

Sebastian's Pov

The months have passed by quickly and before I knew it I was rushing to the hospital after Aroha mind linked me to say that our daughter was on her way. To say I was freaking out would be an understatement. I know the doctors have assured me many times that we are having a little girl, I'm still holding out hope that there wrong and we get a boy. I can only imagine the amount of grey hairs I'll have with a girl. She won't be aloud to date till shes 18, no 30 no make that no boys ever! Yes that sound better, she can be happy and single for ever! Then I won't have to worry about killing any guy who hurts my little girl.

I rush into Aroha's hospital room to an obviously uncomfortable Aroha shaking her head at me. "You left your link open again love, you will not be making our daughter stay single for ever, I do want grandchildren one day when I'm older. And no buts!".

I reply a disgruntled "Yes dear".

14 hours and two broken hands later we welcomed little Anabella Rose into the world. I couldn't believe we made something so beautiful, it was love at first sight. Sitting here holding my little girl I couldn't imagine a life without Anabella or her mother in it.

"Babe, what do you think she will be, Dire wolf or tiger?". I ask Aroha

"I don't know babe, guess we will just have to wait till she shifts. Maybe since you didn't get the boy you wanted she will be a tiger like you". She giggles

"Hey, this is no laughing matter, I'm still not sold on this idea of her being aloud to date".

"Oh stop moping. Smells like it might be time for you to change you first diaper love". She tells me.

I look at her horrified. "But, but, but...".

"What, you afraid your going to faint again like you did during the labour?". She giggles.

"Your never going to let me live that down are you". I cross me arms and sulk.

"Now where would be the fun in that? It's amusing to see the big bad Dire Tiger fainting and afraid to change a dirty nappy". She full on laughing now.

She suddenly stops laughing as she gets a mind link.

"What's up baby?".

"It was the goddess, she's shown me who the first Dire wolf we need to find is, and where to find them".

"But we've only just had Anabella, she can't expect us to leave now?". I ask shocked.

"No babe, she's shown me that they won't be ready for us to help them for a couple years yet. She just wanted to make sure we were prepared". She replies.

"Well if we don't have to leave yet then why do you look so glum". I ask worried.

" I saw brief flashes and feelings of who we need to help. I can't help but feel they are currently being mistreated. The feeling of suffering I felt was intense. I just want to go help them now, but the goddess says that this is apart of their journey they need to endure for them to develop. I guess we will just have to trust her". She replies sadly.

"Don't worry love, when the time comes you will be there to help them, we both will. Until then, let's enjoys spoiling our little bundle of joy".
