Previously...

Soon she would see her family and soon see would go to her real home. Maybe this time she would have a normal elf life.

But her crazy one was pretty fun too.

~ Sophie's POV ~

As all the members of the collective lined up hand in hand ,Fitz and I joined them at the end.

It was no doubt that my hands were clammy and Fitz seemed to noticed that. He squeezed my hand and offered a small smile but I could tell he was just as nervous.

I looked over just as Mr. Forkle held up the blue crystal and the light whisked us away.

"Where are we?" Fitz asked as we stood outside a rather large town house.

I took a deep breath ,everything I saw gave me déjà vu. "This was my house." I said.

We walked up to the front door. The collective waited expectantly for me as I knocked on the big red door.

23 seconds passed before I felt like something was wrong.

I knocked again and another 15 seconds passed before I heard the door click and the knob twist. It opened to reveal a very tired looking Edaline.

"Sophie? It's so nice to see you!" Edaline said. She walked towards me to hug me but stopped when she noticed the group of people behind me.

"Um hi ,Who are you?" She asked looking over my shoulder.

"They're my friends." I replied trying not to confuse her as this was about to get much much more difficult.

"Don't get me wrong Soph it's nice to see you but at 5 am?" She said , "And with strange people who I've never met before ,and- aren't you a little old to be friends with this guy." She said pointing to Mr. Forkle ,which earned a snicker from Fitz.

"Just relax you'll understand in a second." I tried to calm her but her questions kept coming at rapid fire.

"See he looks your age ,and why are you dressed like that is it for some play?" She questioned looking at Fitz and I.

"We are just theater friends." Juline said but I could hear the hurt in her voice. She had lied to Edaline before about being Squall and they promised no more secrets.

"Is Grady up?" I asked.

"Uh Yes ,did something happen?" Edaline asked glancing at The Collective and Fitz.

"Yes. I just have some news..." Sophie said and gave her a small smile.

Sometimes she wished Edaline and Grady could keep these memory's and not return to the elvin world. A world of danger and sadness.

"Okay I'll go get him. Would you like to come inside sweetheart?" Edaline asked me but I'd rather stay outside.

"No I think I should stay out here." I said looking at Fitz and The Collective.

"Okay I'll be quick then." She responded offering me a small smile and shut the door.

"Well that was...interesting." Sir Tiergan said.

"Agreed," Fitz replied giving out a small chuckle. I could tell he was nervous but I didn't really have a way of comforting him ,I felt the same way.

We stood there in silence until the door creeked open. Grady and Edaline stood in the door way. Grady looking very confused and his lips twitched when he saw Fitz.

"It might be easier if you sat down." I said quietly festering over to the hammock bench on the porch.

"Sophie you're really worrying us." Edaline said taking my hands while sitting down. I sat next to her and gave her a genuine smile hoping to calm her down a bit.

"I just need you to relax and calm down close your eyes and count to 60 and when you open your eyes you'll know ,okay?" I said.

"Sophie did you take something is everything alright?" Gray asked seeming to come to his protective-father senses.

Really Grady? I thought to myself. "Don't worry I'm fine."

When they finally closed their eyes Fitz came up next to me. He rubbed my back trying to calm me down as I took a deep breath I placed my fingers on Edaline's temples. Fitz did the same and when his hand touched mine I felt a small light rush through me and our rings clicked together.

I feel deep down into Edaline's head trying to navigate through until I found a small corner of memory's they were blurry but I could hear faint whispers of familiar voices.

Alden.

Juline.

Grady.

Biana.

Fitz.

Mr. Forkle.

Dwarfs Singing.

And me.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but the voices echoed as if trapped in this small area.

I began to channel energy and inflicted so many emotions accompanied with memory's.

*

When I was first brought to Havenfeild and how nervous and excited I was.

*

When Grady and Edaline took me to the matchmakers office only to find me unmatchable.

*

When Verdi would throw temper tantrums and spit his food.

*

How funny Grady looked covered in dinosaur feathers.

*

The memory's and whispers from before got louder and more vivid and I could see Havenfeild and Everglen. See Grady and Alden ,Biana and Fitz. Like watching flashbacks from her life. The whole area seemed to glow and I felt myself flying upwards and out of her mind. Back to reality.

Edaline came back and her eyes quickly burst open as she threw me and Fitz into a big bear hug. I heard her soft sobs and I felt like crying just as much as her.

She ran over to the Collective hugging each of them before finally embracing her sister in a long hug.

I looked at Fitz and he gave me a huge smile. I hugged him so tight and I could feel him stif for a second before he let lose and hugged me back.

"We did it..." I whispered into his chest.

"Yeah we did. Didn't we?" He chuckled.

Maybe things were gonna be better for me after all. But first we needed to help our family's.

I pulled away and looked at Grady. "Well we better get cracking," I said.

"I hope that does mean what I think it does." He responded.

I just rolled my eyes at him as we put our fingers on Grady's temples.

Here we go again...
