Before I start, this one-shot may be triggering to some as it contains self-harm. I don't want to trigger anyone.

Dinah's POV

I had just finished a long and tiring night at work. All I wanted was to cuddle with my girlfriend and watch a movie. We've been fighting a bit recently, and I hate fighting with her. I entered our shared apartment and closed the door behind me. I put my stuff down by the front door and went searching for my girlfriend. She's probably in the living room watching tv. I entered the living room and saw the couch empty and the tv off. I frowned to myself and looked around. Where is she?

" Y/N?" I called out, and I received nothing in return. I walked into the kitchen and again saw nothing. I slowly walked upstairs and entered our bedroom. I didn't see anything there either.

" Y/N?" I called out again, but still nothing. I saw the light on in the bathroom, and the door was locked. If she's in the bathroom, why didn't she answer me?

" Babe?" I said, walking towards the bathroom door and trying to open it. The door was locked and wouldn't budge. I knocked gently on the door and received no answer.

" Babe, did you fall asleep on the toilet again?" I said with a laugh while I knocked harder. I still received nothing, and I was starting to become concerned. I put my ear to the door, and I couldn't hear much but the sound of hollow breathing.

" This isn't funny anymore, Y/N. You're worrying me. Please open the door." I said, banging on the door urgently this time, but I still got no answer.

" Fuck this." I said and started slamming my body into the door. It hurt, but I was getting into the bathroom somehow. I started kicking it hard and finally the bathroom door kicked open. I looked in and saw Y/N laying on the bathroom floor. She was surrounded by blood that seemed to be coming from her wrists. I ran over to her and dropped to the floor. I pulled her body into me and tried to listen for a heartbeat. Her body was completely limp in my arms. I could hear a faint heartbeat.

" Y/N, wake up! Why did you do this?" I yelled while trying to wake her up. I didn't care that her blood was on me. I only wanted her to wake up. I quickly grabbed the towels we had in our bathroom and tied them around her wrists in hopes to stop the bleeding. I quickly grabbed my phone with shaky hands and dialled 911.

" 911, what's your emergency?" The operator asked.

" It's my girlfriend. She cut her wrists and she lost a lot of blood. Please help her. I can't lose her." I said while my voice cracked. Tears started to rush down my cheeks at the realization that she might not make it.

" Okay, I need you to calm down and tell me if she's breathing." The operator said and I looked down to see if she was breathing.

" She's breathing, but it's really shallow." I said while pulling her closer.

" Okay, I need to know where you're located so I can send someone." The operator said and I told her any information she needed. I put the phone down and held Y/N close. I sobbed into her because I can't lose her.

" Please don't leave me." My voice cracked again as I said those words.

" Hold on for me, Y/N. I still need you. I can't live without you." I said to her while caressing her face softly. I heard the sirens outside and knew that they would be in any minute.

" The paramedics are here. Please just hold on." I said to her as I heard the front door burst open. I heard the footsteps rushing up the stairs and then saw the paramedics at the door.

" Please save her." I said pleadingly. They moved into action and pulled her away from me. I hesitantly let her go, but I knew they were trying to save her. I felt so numb and I couldn't hear any of what they were saying. I just stared at her lifeless body as they worked on her. They brought the stretcher in the apartment and put her on it. I walked downstairs with them while holding her hand. I jumped into the ambulance with them and sat beside her. I continued to hold her hand throughout the ride.
