Y/N's POV

I was in a rush on my way to work because I woke up late. I'm running late and it doesn't help that I'm using my bike to get to work. The only way to get to my work on time is to take the shortcut by the freeway which can be a kind of dangerous area for bikes. I sighed to myself and peddled faster. As I was peddling, I saw a beautiful woman standing on the sidewalk. She had blondish brown hair and she was tall. She was absolutely beautiful. We locked eyes for a moment and I couldn't help but get lost in her beautiful brown eyes. It was if time slowed down as we stared at each other. I sent her a smile and she sent one in return.

Before I realized what was happening, I heard a loud honk and then I felt myself flying through the air. I landed on the road with a thud and felt the wind get knocked out of me. My vision blurred and everything around me sounded like mumbles. As I laid on the floor in pain and tried to catch my breath, I tried to focus on the face standing above me. As my vision cleared, I saw the beauty who had caused all of this and I couldn't help but send her a small smile.

" Oh my god, are you okay?" I heard the beauty ask me and I smiled at her goofily. I don't know what it was that caused me to smile. Be it a concussion or her beauty, I couldn't help but smile. Despite the pain, I tried to sit up, but she quickly put a stop to that by gently pushing me back down.

" Don't get up. The paramedics are on their way." She said and I groaned to myself. I felt like my leg was in a lot of pain, so I lifted my head slightly to look at the lower half of my body. I saw that my leg was bent at an awkward angle and I widened my eyes. I dropped my head and groaned.

" I think I broke my leg." I said to the beauty and she looked at me with a strange look.

" I think so too." She said with a small chuckle. I heard sirens coming closer, but I paid them no mind. I had the beauty next to me and I didn't want her to leave.

" What's your name?" I asked her and she raised her eyebrows at me.

" That's not important right now. What is important is getting you to a hospital." She said and I sighed to myself.

" You really won't tell me? What if I die on the way to the hospital or while at the hospital? You would regret not granting me my dying wish." I said dramatically and she rolled her eyes at me, but I could see a smile on her face anyway.

" My name is Dinah." She said and I loved that I brought a smile to her face and that I could finally put a name to the beautiful woman.

" That's a beautiful name." I said with a smile and she let out a laugh. She covered her mouth with her hand and turned her face slightly.

" You know, you shouldn't cover your smile or your laugh. It's beautiful." I said to her and she blushed.

" Are you really flirting with me after you just got hit by a car?" She asked me and I nodded with a goofy smile.

" You never told me your name." Dinah said to me and I realized that I hadn't.

" Y/N." I said and she smiled. The two of us stared at each other with a smile and I hadn't even realized that the paramedics had showed up.

" We're going to need you to move out of the way please." A woman said to Dinah and she nodded. She moved quickly, but I didn't want her to leave. The paramedics asked me questions and I answered as best as I could, but I kept my eyes on Dinah. I'm surprised she hadn't left yet. The paramedics stabilized my leg and put my neck in a brace and then put me on a stretcher. They were loading me into the ambulance, when I looked around to find Dinah.

" Wait, I didn't get her number! Dinah, I didn't get your number!" I called out before they closed the door. I looked up at the paramedics with a pleading look, but they continued to do whatever they needed to do. I sighed to myself because I lost the chance to get Dinah's number. I pouted to myself as I made my way to the hospital.
