Y/N's POV

I was getting ready to go to a friend of Lauren's party. She was really excited to go. I was never one for parties, but I was going because of how exited she is. I had just got out of the shower and I was going through my clothes. I finally found my outfit which consisted of a band shirt, black skinny jeans, and a black jean jacket. My brushed my hair out and left it out. Lauren had already gotten ready and was waiting downstairs for me.

When I went downstairs, my jaw dropped. Lauren wasn't wearing anything extravagant, but she was so beautiful in anything she wore. When she wore that leather jacket, it just did things to me. I walked up to her and placed my hands around her waist.

" God you look beautiful. I just want to stay home and have my way with you." I said to her and she let out a laugh. I loved the sound of her laugh.

" Me? That jean jacket looks so good on you. Normally, I wouldn't mind staying home, but I promised my friend we'd come. We have to go." She said and I groaned dramatically. She let out a laugh again and pulled me in for a kiss.

" I promise later." She said to me and I smirked.

" I guess I can wait until later. Are you ready to go?" I asked her and she nodded her head. She grabbed her purse and we left the house. We hopped into my car and she gave me the address to put into the GPS.

As we were driving, the radio was gently playing in the background and Lauren was singing along. I loved the raspiness of her voice. I could listen to her sing all day. I reached over and interlocked our hands together. She smiled at me and leaned over to peck my cheek.

When we reached the party, I could hear the music blasting from the street. I got out and opened Lauren's door for her. She grabbed my hand with a smile and pulled me into the party. Immediately, we were surrounded by sweaty bodies and I felt a little grossed out, but ignored it. Lauren pulled me into the kitchen to get us drinks. She poured us both drinks and I cringed when I took a sip of mine. It was a little strong, but I don't plan on drinking more than what is in this cup. I'm driving tonight and I don't like alcohol all that much. I won't stop Lauren from having fun. She should be able to go out and have fun with her friends. I will take care of her and she knows it. She pulled me back to the living room where she met up with her friends. We all greeted each other and Lauren talked animatedly about everything she had going on. We sat down on the couch and Lauren sat on my lap. I wrapped my arms around her and listened in on their conversation and spoke when I felt I needed to. Everything was going well, but then I felt Lauren tense in my hold and I frowned.

" What's wrong, babe?" I asked her as I leaned into her ear. I followed her sights and saw some guy entering the living room that I didn't know.

" What is Luis doing here? You told me you weren't going to invite him." She said and I could feel how tense she was. I gave her waist a gentle squeeze. I don't know who this man was, but it was obvious that Lauren wasn't happy to see him.

" I didn't. Someone must have told him about the party." One of Lauren's friends said. I felt her sigh and I leaned into her ear again.

" Are you okay? Do you want to leave?" I asked her and I could see that she was unsure of what she wanted to do.

" I want to stay. I'll just ignore him." She said and I nodded. If she wanted to stay, we will. I held her a little tighter and kissed her cheek to offer her a little comfort. She smiled in appreciation and slowly went back to talking to her friends.

Lauren hasn't told me much about her past and that's okay with me. I would never force her to tell me anything she isn't comfortable with. I've asked before and she kind of shuts down so I've learned that it's better not to ask.
