Joe was trying to calm me and Pete down. But I couldn't. I was pissed off. I couldn't believe my best friend did this to me.
"K guys, stop yelling and we can figure this out like adults!" Andy yelled.
Andy yelled. Andy almost never yells at us like that. We immediately stopped and looked at him.
"We can't change what happened so we all need to calm down!" Andy said.
"Andy's right." Pete said sitting down on the bed.
I know that Andy's right, but that doesn't change how pissed off I am.
"Wait wait wait, did you hear that?" Joe said looking out the window.
"What?" I asked.
"I heard a scream, it sounded kind of like Sammy." Joe said unsure.
My heart started racing.
"Is she outside still?" Pete said
standing up, eyes wide.I ran out the door and looked around the bus, "Sammy? Sammy!" I yelled.
"Where is she?" Pete said following me out, along with Joe and Andy.
"Joe," I said turning to him, "Where did you hear the scream?"
"I, I don't know, it kinda sounded like by the far parking lot."
I took a deep breath, "Okay, okay.
Someone stay here, in case it wasn't her and she comes back." I said, starting to go toward the parking lot."I'm coming with you." Pete said following me.
I decided to let it go, and let Pete follow me, for Sammy's sake. I ran across to the parking lot, to the road where I saw a bright light, and heard people screaming. I was panicing. I ran up to the road where there was a crash. A big truck had hit the side of a red convertible. I looked across the intersection, and saw her laying on the pavement.
I felt like I was going to pass out. It all happened in slow motion. My eyes became blurred with tears and I ran to her.
"Sammy!" I cried.
I knelt down beside her. There was blood. A lot of blood. I tried to listen to hear if she was breathing.
"Call an ambulence! She's not breathing!" I sobbed. I didn't care who was looking at me or heard me crying.
"Sammy, please. Sammy come back." I choked, moving her hair out of her face.
"I'm so sorry. Please." I cried, wiping my tears away.
I looked behind me and saw Pete, Andy and Joe standing at the side of the road, looking at the scene. I cried harder, and harder. I heard sirens, and i felt someone pull me up away from her. It was a paramedic.
"What is your relationship with this girl?" He asked me.
"She's my- my sister." I said, never taking my eyes off her.
They were picking her up, putting her in a stretcher and moving her into the ambulence.
"You can come with us." He said moving me toward the ambulence.
I nodded and sat down on the side inside the ambulence. They put an IV in her arm and a gas mask on her face. I took her hand and held it tight. I didn't look back to the other guys, I didn't really care. The only thing on my mind right now was Sammy.***
I have no idea what time it is. I haven't even looked at my phone or the clock, I've just been sitting in the waiting room of the hospital. I told Pete, Joe and Andy to go home, and I would let them know when I find anything out. They argued to stay, but eventually the front desk lady told them it was pointless to stay because only immediate family would be allowed to see her when she's stable.
