Luke's pov(a different one, finally!)

Annabeth was never the same after Thals died saving us. I didn't change much just because I knew Thalia wouldn't want that.

Annabeth stopped going by Annie and anyone who said otherwise would get a dagger pressed against their throats. I learned thaat very quickly.

She threw herself into her training and seemed detached from the living.

But worst of all, she seemed to blame me.

"If you had just stopped, we could have saved her!" She had screamed at me. Those were the last words she ever said to me.

It's been a year since that terrible day. Annabeth was studying and I was sitting beside Thalia's tree like I did everyday. I look up at the large pine tree and sigh.

"Maybe Annie's right...." I sigh and look over the valley that I have come to call home. My hand finds the scratch on my cheek I had gotten a week earlier on my very first quest.

A breeze blows through the trees, as if telling me otherwise. I smile softly. Maybe Thals could still hear me. I lay my hand on the bark of her tree. "I'll make this up to you somehow,  someway. I swear on the River Styx."

A/N And that would be the end of our story. I don't know if I should make a sequeal or not, that's up to you! So goodbye until further notice, though I would keep this story so I can give you the answer.
I love you all, thank you for reading this far! Don't get bitten by a mortal while I'm gone! Byezzz!
