"God, she's such an asshole..." Jesse groaned as he woke up with a sore feeling with his neck. "Oh my god Jesse?!" Chloe looked at him in utter shock as Jesse stood up a few minutes later. "Oh right, I forgot to tell you I break my bones a lot so her breaking my neck isn't really a big deal. The only thing that's really harmful to me would be completely removing my head, or ripping my heart out of my chest. Whichever comes first to be honest." Chloe covered her head in between her knees as Jesse stood up to see a patient completely covered in blood on the hospital bed. "Holy shit...did Beca do this?" He asked in complete horror, looking to Chloe for an answer. Chloe didn't speak as she was too busy thinking about what Beca could have done to her as well, if Jesse didn't barge in like he did. Jesse grabbed another sheet from the supply closet and covered the body. "Chloe we got to get out of here, or someone else will think we did this to him." Chloe nodded as she got helped up by Jesse and they left the hospital without causing too much of a scene.

"What do you think happened to her Jess? It was like she was a completely different person." Jesse sighed as he let Chloe finish what happened between her and Beca. "It sounds like she turned her emotions off again." Chloe looked at him confusedly. "What do you mean she turned her emotions off? She can do that?" Jesse nodded as he rubbed his neck in mild discomfort. "Yea fortunately and unfortunately vampires can turn their emotions off when it all gets too much for them. Beca kind of explained it to me, she said it was like turning a switch off inside your own head. She told me she did it once when a close friend to left her. I guess she couldn't stand to see him go and the emotions she was feeling was too much to bare, so she turned her emotions off all together. The Beca you experienced is a Beca that no one wants to hang out with, trust me." Chloe sighed heavily as she felt tears come to her eyes. "I don't understand, why would Beca turn her emotions off now? It just doesn't make any sense to me." Jesse nodded in agreement with her. "You're right it doesn't make any sense...oh my god! It's got to be Luke! God why am I such an idiot?! Of course, when Beca left last night she wanted revenge towards him for what he did to you, so I guess she found him and bit off a bit more than she could chew. She was obviously too weak to fend him off and I'm also guessing he compelled her to turn her emotions off unwillingly as well. I know it seems like Beca could rip your throat out at any moment, but deep down she would never intentionally try to hurt you or me...I hope. We just got to figure out a way to get her to turn them back on." Chloe nodded as she wiped her tears away, completely focused on what Jesse was saying. "Well, how do we do that?" Jesse shrugged as he sat back down on the couch in defeat. "Your guess is as good as mine, she never really told me how she turned them back on the last time."

"God you're even sexier when you ignore me Mitchell." Beca rolled her eyes at Cheryl as she finished cracking some hybrids bones. "Do you mind? I'm trying to do my job here." Beca said with a growl as the man screamed his last scream as Beca tore his throat open in one go. Beca spat out the horrid blood in her mouth on the floor as the hybrid fell to the floor. "God, what is Luke feeding these shit for brains?" Beca asked as she wiped the disgusting tasting blood off of her mouth with the back of her hand. "Mostly wolf blood." Luke answered as he entered the chambers. Beca rolled her eyes in boredom as she sat down in a chair, looking at her nails. "Are we gonna do anything exciting? Because snapping bones in your little experiments wouldn't be the funniest thing I've done this week." Luke laughed genuinely as he winked at Cheryl with a knowing smile. "Didn't I tell you she's a ruthless killer when those pesky emotions aren't in the way anymore? Finally my child is back to her old self, no more depending on those lack-less humans. Well just so you know I do plan on visiting that little red head of yours, actually better yet? You are." Beca felt her eye twitch for a moment as she felt a spilt second of dread, but as soon as the emotion came it dissolved quickly out of her brain. "When and where?" Beca asked with a small smirk on her face as Luke smiled at her, deciding to question Beca's motives yesterday. Luke is a bit confused as why his ruthless murder didn't snap that vile human's neck when she had the chance. Maybe the compulsion wasn't his best work. "Yesterday at the hospital...I noticed you only snapped your pet wolf's neck and not hers. Why is that?" Beca scoffed as she rolled her eyes once more. "Oh right I should just snap her neck and leave her body for the rest of the nurses to see. Everyone knew Chloe was there to see me and only me. Why raise any suspicions when I don't have to? Trust me I wanted to tear into her throat and leave her dead on the floor in that very moment." Luke was still a bit concerned that Beca's soft spot for the red head would cause problems for his plans for him and Beca. Luke had to make sure Beca's emotions stayed off until he was sure Beca was back to her old self, just the way he liked her. "Then make sure you do it next time, but for now, we must deal with the matters at hand. Since mother wants to play games with me and execute my role for the Council then I guess I'll as well play for the moment being. Go back to Zara, make it seem like everything is going fine, hell romance her if you have too. I need to know where the council is hidden Beca. Do anything you have to do. Then when she's vulnerable enough and once I make the deal with the council...rip her heart out." Beca smiled widely as she nodded, standing up to head for the door. Cheryl hummed impresses as she saw her sire sit down with a satisfied sigh. "You really have her on a short leash like the rest of your pets don't you?" Luke glared at Her briefly before rolling his eyes. "She's my child, as are you Cheryl. Don't make me regret turning you in the first place, because I won't think twice about snapping your neck in two if you disrespect your elder again." Cheryl gulped in fear as she nodded quickly at her sire.
