Chapter 23: The Plan Part One

"Well I think the only other way for Beca to change is when a blood moon hits, luckily for us that's tonight." Selena groaned in frustration as she sat down on one of the couches. "You really think we have enough time for Beca to wolf out on us? You said it yourself Luke is getting closer to us. What if something bad happens?" Lily sighed heavily as she rubbed at the bags under her eyes from lack of sleep. "I don't know Selena, I also think we don't have much of a choice in the matter." Selena smacked her lips in protest, getting up angrily. "Well obviously your grandmother was wrong! We've been torturing Beca for weeks and nothing has happened so far. What are we supposed to do when the blood moon hits? Pelt her with rocks until she becomes angry? Get real Lily." Lily rolled her eyes at her best friend as she closed her book of enchantments. "Like I said we don't have any other options. Beca is going to have to figure it out on her own tonight. The blood moon makes wolves instincts become even more heightened, hence Jesse being chained up in a cave right now." Selena sighed lowly as she sat back down. "So what happens if Beca does wolf out on us? Who's going to stop her from ripping all of our throats out on her own?" Lily smiled softly as she looked outside to see Beca and Chloe kissing outside on their own cabin porch. "Chloe will." Selena scoffed with a loud laugh. "Yeah right! You think that tiny human is going to stop an insane original Hybrid? No offense Lily, but you need to get some serious sleep." Lily looked back to Selena as she had a jealous scowl on her face. "I know you're still in love with her Sel, but you have to let her go and admit that Chloe is her one true soulmate." Selena scoffed again as she folded her arms against her chest defensively. "Whatever...if she gets chewed up like a rag doll by Beca I don't want to hear it, I'm not going to save her. No matter how much you beg me." without another word to Lily, Selena speed off into the forest in anger. Lily mentally rolled her eyes at her best friend, she also couldn't help but feel sad for her. Beca was never going to love her, no matter how much Selena herself begged her too.

"I hope Jesse is okay, it must be cold in that cave." Chloe said as she cuddled into Beca's side worriedly. Beca chuckled as she rubbed Chloe's back up and down soothingly. "Babe I think you're forgetting he's a werewolf, I think he's warmer than I physically am right now." Chloe nodded as she kissed Beca's neck to test her temperature. "Oh my gosh, how did I not notice how cold you were before?" Beca smirked as she lifted Chloe's head up to kiss her softly on her lips. "You were too busy screaming to notice." Chloe huffed as she smacked Beca on her chest playfully. "You're such a pervert Mitchell." Beca shrugged as she smacked Chloe on her ass, making her squeal with a small blush on her cheeks. "I think we should focus on how you're gonna defeat Luke and not about my butt, please and thank you." Chloe said as she stepped a little bit to the side from Beca. Beca chuckled as she nodded grabbing Chloe's hand and intertwining with her own. "Defeat Luke? This is sounding a bit too much like a Twilight movie and I'm not liking it one bit." Chloe gasped as she looked at Beca in shock. "So you did watch the Twilight movies!" Beca's eyes widened as she was the one filled with embarrassment. "Hey Beca! I kind of need to speak with you." Lily shouted from in front of them, on her cabin porch. Beca and Chloe looked at each other confusedly, as they both ran up to Lily's cabin. "What's going on?" Beca asked Lily curiously as she saw Selena with chains in her hands with an annoyed look on her face. "Well I have some good news and I have some bad news. The good news is we're gonna get you to change into a hybrid sooner than we thought. The bad news is that Luke knows where we are and he may or may not be bringing his army of hybrids with him." Beca's eyes widened as Chloe tightened her grip on Beca's hand anxiously. "Well I don't think the first one counted as good news Lily. So what do we do now? Also how the fuck am I turning into a hybrid on my own? Aren't you supposed to do some spell or something to actually make me turn?" Lily sighed as she opened her book of spells to a certain page and showed it to Beca. "It's pretty simple actually, tonight is a blood moon, which is really rare so it's perfect timing on our part. The blood moon is a beacon for all werewolves and werewolves alike. So when it becomes full tonight, you will eventually have to change. I have no doubt in my mind that it will trigger the change for you. All we have to do is distract Luke long enough for the blood moon to show itself completely and for you to hybrid out." Beca sighed as she nodded, rubbing her neck in stress. "Okay so let me get this straight, you guys tortured me for weeks on end and now you're saying all I have to do is wait for a fucking blood moon?!" Lily and Selena looked at each other and they shrugged nonchalantly together. "Basically." Beca growled loudly as she felt herself become extremely angry with the pair. All of their eyes widened as Beca let out a different growl, something they've never heard before. "Apparently even when the moon is not even showing, it still has effects on you...interesting." Lily whispered to herself as Selena rolled her eyes. "Okay since that's out of the way, come here little vamp-dog whatever." Chloe gasped as she stepped in front of Beca protectively. "Woah wait! Why does she have to be chained up right now?" Selena huffed as she eyed Beca over Chloe's shoulders angrily. "Are you kidding me right now snow flake? You heard what just came out of her mouth and the blood moon isn't even showing yet. I don't know about you, but I certainly don't want an original hybrid biting out a chunk out of me anytime soon. Now move out of my way, before I make you bloodbag!" Selena said with a growl as she bared her sharp teeth at Chloe in a warning. Before Selena even tried to move in inch towards Chloe she was suddenly thrown against the wooden cabin walls, making Chloe and Lily jump in fright at the sickening cracking noise. Chloe released a breath of relief as she saw Beca was the one that did it. "If you even try to hurt my girlfriend, I won't even hesitate to rip your throat out when I do eventually turn. Don't start picking battles you can't win Sel." Selena huffed out in pain as she cracked her back bone back into place. "That's cute Becs, because I'm pretty sure you're the one who's going to be hurting her tonight more than I ever will. We all know you're not the one who can control yourself around human blood and I'll make sure she bleeds." Beca growled loudly as she made an angry step towards an equally pissed off Selena, who shot back up readying herself. "Stop it! This is not the time to see who's the biggest meanest vampire here! Beca I'm sorry, but we don't know what emotions you're going to be feeling right now and if we don't chain you up at this very second you could hurt one of us on accident. So please for my safety and Chloe's safety, you have to be chained up for now." Beca felt herself start to calm down as she heard Lily out. Beca sighed as she nodded and picked the chains up off the floor herself. "Okay, where do you want me?" Lily smiled at her softly as she led Beca out of the cabin doors. Of course Chloe and Selena were not far behind them.

For the rest of the morning Beca was chained up to a large tree in the middle of their camp, watching as they were preparing for war. "Hi baby, are you hungry? I've just had my breakfast so do you want a little-" Beca shook her head immediately when Chloe came up to her and offered her wrist. "Chloe I don't know if I'll be able to stop, I'll-" Chloe huffed as she looked Beca up and down playfully. "Babe not to be Miss know it all here, but you're chained up to a tree at the moment. I'm pretty sure I could stop you myself if I wanted too. Now stop being stubborn and eat, you're gonna need your strength tonight." Beca started to protest again as Chloe huffed and brought out a small knife from her back pocket and held it to her wrist. "Either you bite me or I'll do it myself. Please Beca, I want you too." Beca's eyes widened but then softened as she saw Chloe looking at her with tears forming in her eyes. Beca swallowed as she licked her lips in thirst and eventually nodded. "Fine, but if I hurt you just use that knife and stab me a little. Also who gave that to you?" Chloe smiled brightly as she prepared her wrist by putting up to Beca's mouth. "Lily did, we were making wooden stakes earlier. Now stop stalling and bite me." Beca chuckled a little at Chloe's impatient-ness as she eyed Chloe's wrist hungrily. Beca could see Chloe's pulse from her wrist start to beat erratically as she felt her eyes turn to her black. Chloe bit her lip preparing herself for the sting for when Beca's sharp fangs finally decided to sink in, but before they did Beca kissed her wrist lovingly first. "I love you Chloe..." Chloe smiled at her as she used her other hand to caress her thumb under Beca's eyes, feeling her purple veins pulse in need. "I love you too Beca." Beca took in a deep breath as she kissed Chloe's wrist one last time before she opened her mouth and let her sharp teeth sink into Chloe's soft porcelain skin. Chloe groaned in pain as she felt the initial sting, but the pain soon melted into something else entirely as Beca continued to drink from her. Beca's eyes rolled back into her head at the taste of Chloe's blood, she couldn't describe it, but it was definitely the most delicious blood she's ever had. Chloe gasped as she felt her whole body start to heat up at the feeling of Beca drinking from her. Beca moaned lowly into Chloe's wrist as she took a few last gulps before she stopped drinking from Chloe all together. Beca let out a groan of satisfaction as she looked down at Chloe's still bleeding wrist and licked up the remaining drops gently. Chloe opened her droopy eyes to find Beca back to kissing her wrist apologetically. "How do you feel?" Beca asked Chloe curiously as Chloe smiled at her lazily. "I feel good, my body also felt really warm, is that how it normally feels?" Chloe asked Beca in intriguingly as she looked down at her wrist to see two teeth marks, her skin already starting to bruise slightly. Beca nodded as she licked her lips, just in case she still had Chloe's blood on them. "Yes, at first at least. It feels even better when I continually feed from you, but I don't think we should do that all the time. For most humans it's quite addictive to them." Chloe laughed as she leaned towards Beca to lock their lips together passionately. "I can see why, that felt absolutely amazing. How did it feel for you?" Beca chuckled as she pecked Chloe's lips one more time before she answered her again. "It's always a rush for us vampires, but it was different with you. It felt almost...calming for me. Your blood Chloe, it was something I've never tasted before. I don't know why." Chloe let herself smirk as she kissed Beca's cheek lovingly. "Well maybe I'm not your average human Mitchell, I tend to be better at everything than most people." Beca laughed loudly as she huffed playfully at her red headed girlfriend. "You are something else Beale." Chloe winked at Beca before she turned around swaying her hips as she left to head back to Lily's cabin to finish what they were working on. "And you better believe it Mitchell." Beca smiled at Chloe's leaving form longingly as she hit her head against the tree in relief.
