Chapter 20: Emotions

"I guess swapping spit with royalty does have its advantages huh Becs?" Cheryl called after her with a smirk as Beca just ignored her and went straight to her sire with the information she gathered. Beca went into Luke's chambers and slapped down a piece of paper, with times and dates written all over it. "Tomorrow night, they're having a feast. Zara informed me mother would be in downtown Boston while the council chows down on humans. Of course Zara would be there, but nothing I can't handle." Luke looked up at her in mild surprise as he shooed away his incompetent hybrids from his room. "Well done Beca, I see my child has always had her use. You did well, but I have more important plans for you." Beca looked at him confusedly as he used his speed to push Beca against the wall roughly, grabbing her head and making sure she looked into his eyes. "Find your precious Chloe, and rip her throat out." Beca's face went blank and nodded as Luke let her go of her, watching with a proud smile as she left his room without another word.

"Ok so we know Beca is in a chamber full of blood lusting baby hybrids and Luke, but what we don't know is how to get in." Chloe said as she chewed on her nails nervously. Jesse nodded as he sighed and chugged down a rootbeer. "Exactly, which is why I think I should go and drag her out of there. We both know those baby hybrids would tear a human like you up to shreds, but with me I can take them to a certain point. They don't call me Jacob from twilight for nothing." Chloe stopped as she eyed Jesse weirdly. "Now I see why Beca hates Twilight. Anyways, that's a good plan but you going in there guns blazing is most likely a way for you to get sucked dry." Jesse giggles at that sexual innuendo as Chloe glared at him, silencing him. "Sorry, ok how about-" Just then the front door opened with a loud slam, making them both turn towards it with a scream. "Beca?" Jesse said in astonishment as he jumped up with his rootbeer still in his hand. "Hey buddy, we were just coming to rescue you!-" It felt like Chloe just blinked and Jesse was already hitting the back wall of the kitchen with a loud slam. Chloe felt frozen in place as she stood there in the living room, heart thudding in fear. Beca then turned her head with an evil smirk towards her girlfriend. "Hi Red, did you miss me? Cause I've missed you." Beca slowly made her way towards a still frozen in place Chloe as Jesse groaned in the background. "Stay away from her Beca!" Beca rolled her eyes at him as she stopped and looked at him struggling to get up. "Aren't you tired of playing the hero role yet Jess? You couldn't save Henry and you sure as hell cant save Chloe, I'll make sure of it." Jesse growled as his eyes turned yellow and ran towards Beca, but she was too quick for him. Jesse let out a yelp as she grabbed Jesse by his neck and lifted him into the air, strangling him. Chloe finally felt her voice come out of her mouth as she let out a shout. "Beca stop it! Let him go!" Beca looked towards her once more with nothing but hatred. "All you humans are the same. You're nothing but a blood bag to most of us Chloe, so why are you trying to protect this dog? He wouldn't even think twice if he turned and looked at you. Hell Jesse would gladly rip your throat out if it was the full moon. Isn't that right Jess?" Beca said as she squeezed his throat, cutting his airway off completely. Chloe had to do something so she did the only thing that was logical. "You didn't come for Jesse did you Beca? You came for me, so please let him go. I won't fight you, just please stop." Beca scoffed as she let Jesse's finally unconscious body hit the ground beneath them. "You're right...I didn't come for him. I came to rip your throat out." Beca said with a menacing growl as her eyes turned black and purple veins showed up beneath her eyes. Before Beca could even make a move towards Chloe, she dropped to her knees in pain as she let out an agonizing scream. Chloe let out a breath of relief as she looked at Beca who was holding her head tightly in confusion, as if her head was going to explode. "It's okay, I've got a hold on her." Chloe looked up to see Lily with her hand up towards a screaming Beca. "It was about damn time." Chloe looked even more confused as a brown haired girl stood next to Lily. "Wow you weren't kidding, Beca has gone down the hole of no emotions again." The brunette girl sighed as she walked towards a still screaming Beca and stood behind her. Not even for a second later snapped her neck, making Beca drop to the floor face first. Chloe screamed in shock as she rushed to a broken neck Beca. "Why did you do that?!" The girl sighed as she rolled her eyes. "Ugh a human, really Beca? Relax there fire crotch, she's not dead, well not more than she already is. She's just unconscious." Chloe nodded with tears on her face as she wiped Beca's hair out of her own face gently. "Help Jesse Selena, then help me get Beca to the basement. We have a long night ahead of us."
