Beca finally made it to the sorority party, that Chloe texted her the address of. For Beca, she's been to a couple of her own sorority parties in the past, so it's not really that much of a difference. Yes, Beca has been to college. When you're a vampire and you have time to waste, getting multiple degrees in every subject seems like a conquest you can make happen. Beca just decided to save lives instead of taking them, it was her way of releasing some of her guilt. Although some days, she wished she could go back to the simpler times when she had her emotions turned off completely. No dreams of killing your victims and then feeling the major guilt afterwards when you do eventually wake up. For Beca, her killing spree days were quite an exhilarating time. She was a young vampire and just learning how to use all of her amazing abilities. Alas, all good things must come to an end. Ripping people's throats out like she used too, is no longer in her best interests. Beca parked her car a couple blocks down and got out to walk towards the booming house party. College kids were running past her in excitement, Beca just shook her head with a knowing smile. Beca really hopes Chloe gets here soon, she really doesn't want to be forced to mingle with idiotic jocks all night. Beca walked through the opened front door and rolled her eyes at some of the jocks already piling in the house. Beca was about to walk past them, but a girl in a white dress came up to her with a cardboard box in her hands. "Hi! Welcome to Kappa Nu, we are doing a charity night tonight for St. Judes, so the entry fee is five dollars." The girl smiled at her with perk, while Beca tight lipped smiled at her in return and fished out a five dollar bill to throw in the box. "Thanks! Have an awesome night!" The peppy girl waved goodbye to Beca and skipped her way through the crowd at the front door. Beca sighed out as she put her hands in her leather pockets and proceeded to push through the dancing crowd. Beca almost moaned out in relief as she saw a homemade bar in the kitchen. Beca saw a young college jock behind it, mixing drinks and dancing along to the music. "Hey! What do you got?" Beca shouted to him over the music. The jock smiled at her, "Tequila, Vodka, and Jack, pick your poison beautiful." he shouted back at her with a flirty wink. Beca mentally rolled her eyes at his tactics but asked him for straight up Vodka in a cup. The young jock widened his eyes at her request at first, but gave it to Beca anyways. The only downside to being a vampire is not getting a good enough buzz from alcohol. Well besides all the murdering and regret she has, it was still on the list. Beca soon found herself a quiet corner, to which she just stood and waited for a text from Chloe. Beca looked around the party and started to notice the little things. How the humans danced, laughed, and ultimately looked like they enjoyed their lives. Beca let out a huff and rolled her eyes at herself. Why does she have to brood all the time? This is just fueling the fire to the flame about Chloe's comparison to her and Edward. I mean come on, the guy literally sparkles when the sun hits his body! Which kinda doesn't make sense since every scene where he is at school when the sun is on him, the dude doesn't even let off a glitter. Beca's train of thought soon came to a holt, when she felt a vibration go off in her pocket. Beca took her phone out and immediately read the message that Chloe was finally here. Beca smiled softly at the message, Chloe seems to like to use the "emojis" quite often than not. She has always hated when Jesse sent her those ridiculous faces, but when Chloe does it, it's kind of adorable. The message read as follows: "Hey Becs, sorry I'm late! 😅 I found my way to the backyard, come and join me, my brooding Edward 😉😘" Beca chuckled at Chloe's teasing message and pushed her way through the crowd once more, heading towards the sororities huge backyard. Before Beca could even scan her eyes for Chloe, she heard her heart beat instead. Yes, Beca has memorized what Chloe's heartbeat sounds like. Yes, she also realizes how creepy that is when she says it out loud. Beca shook her head at herself and then turned her head towards Chloe's recurring heartbeat. Once Beca spotted her, they immediately locked eyes with each other. Chloe smiled widely at Beca as her heartbeat got ten times louder, with every step Beca made towards her. "Hey there, I was beginning to think you ditched me for Posen." Beca told her playfully and sent Chloe a charming smile. Chloe instantly melted at Beca's smile, "Ya know I was going too, but Aubrey would rather be alone with Stacie." Chloe told Beca, wiggling her eyebrows up and down in a suggestive manner. Beca let out a laugh as she nodded, "Oh for sure, I mean who would want an over excited red head cramping their style on the first date?" Chloe gasped out dramatically and smacked Beca on her shoulder. "That was totally uncalled for Becs, but it is sort of true. Aubrey would literally have a mannerism if I was there." Chloe said lightheartedly, letting out a knowing chuckle. Beca chucked along with her. "So, is this what you college students get up to nowadays?" Beca asked her curiously. "Actually, I don't do parties that much anymore. My good friend Nina is the head of this sorority and she's throwing a charity party for St. Judes. It just so happens that I work there, so I get free drinks all night. I mean, why else would I come out of my room at eight pm?" Chloe told Beca with a sly wink. Beca chuckled and nodded, "I would say same but I can only come out at night, so..." Beca told Chloe teasingly, with her own wink. Chloe giggled at Beca's lame vampire joke, "It's like you want me to make fun of you Mitchell." Beca shrugged nonchalantly and leaned down towards Chloe's ear, so she could hear her clearly over the blasting music behind them. "If it's coming from a gorgeous red head like you, I don't think I would mind as much." Chloe bit her lip trying not to let out a groan, as Beca pulled back with a sexy smirk on her lips. "You're playing a dangerous game Mitchell." Beca arched her eyebrow at Chloe in challenge, "Is there any other way to play?" Chloe smiled at her widely as she put her drink down at one of the discarded tables softly. She then turned towards Beca and grabbed her hand, pulling Beca along with her towards the booming house quickly.
