Olivia couldn't manage to get Trevor out of her head. It was still so weird to think that a guy she always thought was a bad guy, could still kinda be good under all of the scare tactics and piles of money from bad people. In the middle of March, Olivia decided to use her day off to sit in on one of Trevor's easier cases. She sat on the back bench in a family courtroom and just waited for it to start. She watched as Trevor talked quietly to his client and he gently rubbed her back when she started to cry.

"You will get your child back," Trevor spoke, as they were all told to stand. Olivia stood as quietly as possible since there were only a few people there for this case.

"Alright, Ms. Cox, why are we here today?" Judge Linden asked.

"Ms. Eisner was found passed out on the front steps of her apartment with a blood alcohol level of .19. CPS had to remove her son from her care because upon entrance into her apartment there were several open containers of alcohol in reach of the five-year-old. There was also cocaine and meth stashed in the kitchen." Ms. Cox spoke, and Olivia's eyes went wide as she heard that.

She was wondering why Trevor was even fighting to get that little boy back if the mother had clearly made bad choices.

"Mr. Langan, I assume you have some things to say?" Judge Linden questioned.

"Ms. Eisner lived in that apartment with her sister. She had never taken the drugs that were found in the apartment and her blood alcohol level was high because she had been drinking with a friend while her son was supposed to be watched by her neighbor. The boy, Baxter, wasn't in the apartment at the time and he had never been left in the apartment by himself before." Trevor spoke, as he looked directly at the judge.

"But she was found drunk and sleeping on the front steps of her apartment building. So I do not think that she was just drinking." Pippa Cox replied. Olivia had a hard time not huffing in anger, but she didn't want to get fined.

"This is the first time she has ever gotten in 'trouble'. She is a good mother, and this was just one mistake. As her lawyer, I vouch for her and I have already got her into a program where she and her son can have an apartment and she already has a new job to help pay for everything."

"Alright, Mr. Langan, if you can prove to me that Ms. Eisner is in a good spot in one month, she can have Baxter back. But if she fails any random drug tests or breathalyzers, she will lose complete custody of him."

"Thank you, your honor. I will make sure that she does everything in her power to get her son back." Trevor spoke. Judge Linden dismissed court, and Trevor hugged his client before the courtroom emptied. Trevor turned around and saw Olivia standing there and he smiled.

"Snooping again, Detective?" He asked, and Olivia shook her head as she stood.

"I was just having a hard time getting you out of my head for some reason," Olivia replied.

"Oh, is it because I'm so pretty?" Trevor asked with a large smile on his lips.

"Okay, pretty boy. Uh, so how did Ms. Eisner find you?" Olivia questioned, as she watched Trevor walk towards her.

"Through the home. She was told by one of the board members that a lawyer volunteered there and that he took on pro-bono cases. So she found me and I took her case on. I'm going to help her get her son back no matter what." Trevor replied. He sat on the bench that Olivia was standing in front of, and she sank beside him.

"So maybe people really do change," Olivia spoke.

"Olivia-"

"Trevor, I'm sorry that I had been so harsh with you at the home. That I was kinda a bitch when I blew you off. I wish that I was nicer to you." Olivia spoke.

"Why don't you make it up to me?"

"How could I make it up to you?" Olivia said with a small laugh.

"Take me out for coffee and a muffin. I missed breakfast, and my day is open."

"I can do that. Let's head out then."

The blizzard that was due to come in later that night, decided to come in early. Olivia and Trevor stood by the doors and watched as the snow came down hard and fast.

"Uh, so I'm not driving in this," Olivia spoke, and Trevor nodded in agreement.

"I guess you and I could just get some coffee in the waiting area and talk till it slows down a bit," Trevor spoke, and Olivia smiled and nodded.

"Sounds like fun. But I'm making the coffee. We can't just drink what's already down there." Olivia laughed.

They headed downstairs and Olivia made coffee while Trevor walked over and got a few bags of chips from the vending machine.

"So, how long do you think that this storm is going to last?" Olivia asked as she handed him a cup of coffee before grabbing the plain chips.

"Probably long enough for you to hate me again," Trevor replied back with a small smile.

"Well, I just hope that it ends tonight because I do not want to sleep here. Again."

"Again?" Trevor laughed.

"Yeah. In my first year being with SVU, Alex and I were working hard on prepping witnesses and getting ready for the huge case that I ended up passing on one of the benches. Alex had to pour water on me to wake me up." Olivia spoke. Trevor smiled softly at her before sighing.

"My office is pretty much my home. I have a couch in there that is too small, but if I put my chair at the end I can sprawl out enough to be comfortable."

"How tall are you exactly?" Olivia asked because she had wanted to ask that question for quite some time.

"6'5. I know, I'm a tree." He smirked, which made Olivia start to laugh.
