The cramping persisted on the car ride to the hospital. No one knew why Olivia was being rushed to the hospital, but they did know that they weren't wanted at the hospital right now. Olivia and Trevor needed to be alone if they lost their baby. Their small, innocent, precious baby.

"I'm not strong enough to lose a baby, Trevor." Olivia sniffled, as she held her stomach. She had just started to barely show, but that didn't stop her from holding her belly and trying to will the cramps to stop.

"No one said that you would lose the baby, Olivia. We will get to you to the hospital and they will help us." Trevor spoke, as he reached over to grab her hand, but she kept them to her belly as tears continued to slip down her cheeks.

"I just want our baby." She whimpered, as she closed her eyes and rested her head against the cold window.

At the hospital, Olivia and Trevor had to sit and wait for what felt like days. While they waited, Olivia started to bleed a bit, and her cramps got worse. Trevor was drafting a lawsuit in his head as they sat because if the doctors didn't take them seriously and Olivia lost their child, he would sue the fuck out of this hospital and make them pay.

Nearly three hours after arriving, Olivia was pale and had gotten sick a few times. She was shaking as she sat beside her husband and tried to sleep with her head against his shoulder, but she couldn't because she felt so freaking horrible.

"Olivia Langan?" A nurse called, and Trevor stood slowly before bringing his wife with him.

"This is Olivia," Trevor spoke, waving his hand a bit. The nurse came over and smiled at them.

"Alright, Mrs. Langan. Are you ready to be looked at?" The nurse asked.

"I'm losing my baby... don't be smiling." Olivia whimpered. The nurse eyed them with wide eyes before looking at the clipboard in her hands.

"Are you sure? This says you are having stomach cramps... like with your period." The nurse spoke. Olivia shook her head before bringing the bag to her mouth and heaving into it.

"My wife is 12 weeks pregnant, ma'am. She's cramping, bleeding, and she's been getting sick for the last two hours. Help her, and help her now." Trevor demanded.

The nurse nodded before running off and coming back with a wheelchair. Trevor helped Olivia into it before the nurse took them to a room. This hospital was different from the other ones in Manhattan. All of the ER beds were in their own room, which was good for Olivia since she was losing her baby and needed her privacy.

Once in a room, Olivia was given an IV of fluid and medicine to help stop the cramps, but they just kept getting worse. Olivia was quickly losing blood, and the OBGYN on call was preparing the expectant parents for the loss of their child.

"Mr. and Mrs. Langan... with symptoms like these, the mother always loses her the fetus. I'm so sorry, but we need to prepare for the worse." The doctor spoke.

"So you just ignore my wife and her pain for three hours, to only bring her back here and tell her that she's losing our child? And stop calling our baby a fetus. He or she is our child. We love it with all of our hearts and are so excited to meet it. But then you can't do your job and we are going to have to grieve the loss of our baby?" Trevor spat. Olivia was curled up on the bed as she closed herself off from the world.

"We will continue to administer the medicine to prevent the miscarriage and to stop the bleeding, but I'm afraid that this isn't my fault. I didn't read her form wrong." The doctor growled before leaving. Trevor looked at his wife as she slowly looked up at him.

"I'm done having babies, Trevor... I can't go through this again..." Olivia whispered.

"You aren't losing this baby, Olivia. I'm going to call your doctor. See if she can come done and fix this. To help you and our baby."

Olivia's doctor showed up, but it was too late. Olivia and Trevor's baby had already lost its heartbeat. Olivia was still early enough in her pregnancy that she wouldn't have to go through a painful delivery to only not get a living and breathing baby, but it still hurt like hell. She had to pass everything that had been inside of her to help support the baby, and those hours were heartbreaking. They had never lost a baby before, and now they have.

"Are you ready to go home?" Trevor breathed, as he tied his wife's hair back before he rubbed her back gently. She was sitting on the edge of the hospital bed as she tried to keep her body from shaking, but it was almost impossible for her.

"They are all going to know," Olivia whispered.

"They don't need to know if you don't want to tell them... we can decide on the way home," Trevor spoke. Olivia looked down at her hands before back to her husband.

"Can you call them and ask them all to leave if they haven't yet? Have your parents take the kids." Olivia whispered.

"You don't want the kids around?" Trevor asked.

"They said that my bleeding is still going to be heavy for the next week or something... I don't want to worry about my babies witnessing anything incase I like... leak... or something." Olivia whimpered. Trevor nodded slowly before leaning close and kissing his wife's temple.

"Okay, love. Let's go home."

Trevor helped his wife to her feet before wrapping his arm around her waist. He then went to lift her up, but she stopped him.

"I want to walk." She whispered. Trevor nodded before pulling his phone from his pocket.

"I'll call them as we walk then."

At the house, everyone was waiting around anxiously. The kids had been put down for the night, which was good because it was late before Trevor called to tell everyone that they were heading home.

"What happened?" Elliot asked, as soon as he answered the house phone.

"Uh, Olivia doesn't want to talk about what happened so I won't tell you. But can you all take off? Olivia wants to just be with me." Trevor spoke.

"Trevor, c'mon. Tell me what happened to my best friend!" Elliot exclaimed.

"Man, please respect her wishes... and mine too. Uh, can I talk to my Mom?" Trevor asked. Elliot huffed as he shoved the phone into June's hand. She hesitantly put it to her ear as she heard her son's shaky breath on the other side.

"Trevor?"

"Hey, Mom. Uh, can you and Dad take the kids home with you?"

"What's happening, Trev?" June asked worriedly.

"It's not good, Mom. But I can't tell you more than that. So please, just take the kids home with you. They have small suitcases under each of their beds. Just pack what they need and I'll bring more out tomorrow in case the stay needs to be longer." Trevor spoke.

"Do you nee-"

"Mom, please. Just do this for me and Olivia."

"Okay... I hope that everything gets better and we will all find out soon."

"I hope so too," Trevor whispered.
