It was a lot to handle. The crew didn't know who to try and support, but in the end, they visited the hospital every night to see Elliot and Kathy but didn't call Olivia. Cragen thought that she should have waited for backup, and Fin knew to give her space.
Maureen's stats slowly got better, and nearly 5 weeks after the shooting she woke up. She was a little confused, but she woke up to her parents sitting there waiting for her. But when she woke up, she didn't ask for any of her siblings. She asked for her Aunt Liv and asked for information on the shooting. On what happened.
"I don't want to be here," Olivia mumbled, as she walked beside her fiance and towards Maureen's room. She was wearing baggy clothes and she had dark circles under her eyes. She had done nothing but cry and sleep the last 5 weeks, only leaving the apartment to go to doctor's appointments to check up on her baby.
"I know. But Maureen asked for you. Kathy and Elliot were hesitant in asking you to come here, but you have five minutes to ease her mind and then we can go home. You can take a bath and we can cuddle if you'd like." Trevor spoke. He drew Olivia's hand to his lips and kissed her knuckles gently, but she didn't smile at him or look at him as he kissed her hand.
"Do you think they will arrest me on our way out?" Olivia asked quietly as she wrapped her free arm over her stomach.
"No. They won't. I don't think that they will arrest you. They dropped the case mostly."
"Keyword is mostly, Trev." Olivia frowned. They walked down to a room that Kathy and Elliot were standing outside. Olivia felt her heart start to beat heavily in her chest and she wanted to start crying. She felt so fucking bad about everything.
"Olivia." Elliot huffed when he saw his partner. Olivia looked down as she clung to her fiance.
"Hey, guys. How is Maureen doing?" Trevor asked.
"She's still weak, but they don't think she has any lasting problems from being without oxygen," Kathy spoke. She avoided looking at Olivia because in the end neither she nor her husband liked her anymore. She had always promised to protect their children, yet she let Maureen get shot.
"You have five minutes, then we don't want you anywhere near us. Do you hear me, Olivia?" Elliot spat, and Olivia nodded.
"Yes." She squeaked.

Trevor and Olivia walked into Maureen's room together. Trevor was Olivia's rock, and she needed him so she'd be strong and not start sobbing as soon as she saw Maureen.
"Aunt Liv." Maureen breathed, as she pushed herself up and looked at her Aunt.
"Hi," Olivia whispered.
"We need to talk. Alone." Maureen spoke. Olivia went to shake her head, but Trevor shook his head.
"You've got this, baby. It's only for five minutes. Then I'll be waiting outside for you." Trevor spoke. He pressed a soft kiss to Olivia's hair before leaving the room. Olivia kept her head bowed as Maureen stared at her.
"My parents think it is your fault," Maureen spoke, and Olivia frowned as a tear fell from her cheeks and onto the floor.
"It is my fault, Maureen. I'm sorry that I let you get shot. They are still thinking about putting me under arrest." Olivia spoke.
"Aunt Liv, it's not your fault. It's mine. I was so scared that you'd get shot and killed. That my cousin and favorite aunt would die. I just didn't expect for everything to happen as it did. I thought that maybe I could help, but instead, I made everything worse." Maureen spoke. Olivia wiped the tears from her cheeks before looking at Maureen.
