Olivia quietly laid beside Trevor and watched as he continued to sleep on. The heat was back on, but that didn't stop her from laying there and watching as he slept and his face twitched a bit. Olivia smiled when she saw him move a bit before rolling over and opening his eyes. He looked at her and smiled.
"Hey, Livvie." He breathed.
"Livvie? I haven't heard that in a while." Olivia replied.
"I'm tired still, and I'm surprised you are awake."
"It's only because you snore," Olivia replied with a small smile. She looked at him for a long moment before climbing out of her bed and walked towards the bathroom.
"I didn't want you to get out of bed, Olivia. I liked just laying here with you." Trevor spoke, and Olivia looked in the mirror as her face grew red.
"Trevor, I have work in a bit... but will you still be here tonight?" Olivia questioned. Trevor climbed out of bed and walked to the bathroom door. He leaned against it and sighed softly.
"No, but I'll be at the precinct to bring you dinner and to check-in." He replied.
"Okay. Uh, have a good day, handsome."
"You too, beautiful," Trevor spoke.

Olivia walked quietly into the precinct and Elliot ignored her when she said good morning. She looked at him for several moments before sinking down in her chair and sighing.
"Not gonna talk to me because I went on a date with Trevor?" Olivia asked.
"Tree Boy is not dating material." Elliot huffed.
"Neither were you, but look at you now. You are married and have almost 5 kids." Olivia replied.
"Hey-"
"I don't care about your thoughts and feelings towards my boyfriend..." Olivia trailed off when she said the word 'boyfriend'. Elliot rolled his eyes as he stood and walked away. Olivia closed her eyes tightly as Fin and Munch exchanged glances.
"Boyfriend?" Fin finally asked.
"He's not my boyfriend. I'm just angry and it came out like that. What are you thinking about this case? Who is the main suspect right now?" Olivia asked, and the men shrugged.
"Haven't found a suspect yet. Want to go look through her apartment?" Fin asked, and Olivia nodded.
"Sure. But you are joining me."
Olivia stood again and Fin went to tell Cragen about their plans. Olivia saw as Elliot quietly left the locker room with freshly busted knuckles.
"Me being happy really makes you this angry and upset?" Olivia questioned.
"You being with a scumbag does."

It made her so angry. Olivia was in tears as she and Fin drove over to the victim's apartment. She was trying her hardest to not full-on sob because she was so very angry. She hated that Elliot had to mess with her. That he couldn't be supportive when she finally found a guy that made her happy. One that made her feel good and not like she was married to her job all the time.
"He's just worried about you." Fin spoke.
"Fin, do you like Trevor?" Olivia asked.
"I don't know, Liv. He hasn't made me hate him yet, so he doesn't bother me too much. Do you like him?" Fin asked.
"He's amazing. I really like him, Fin. But I don't know if I should since my best friend hates him."
"You can't just live your life in a way that Elliot approves of. You are 34 and I think you want to start your life. Maybe settle down. I know that I'd give anything to have my family again. To have my mother alive."
"My mom will never meet Trevor or any children that I'll have," Olivia whispered.
"If she did, what would she say about him?" Fin asked as he parked. Olivia eyed him because he was a man of few words and was usually saying something that a perp doesn't think is as funny as he does.
"She'd say I wasn't good enough for him. That I was stupid to think that any man could love me since my own father wasn't around. She'd say that kids would be something I didn't deserve and that Trevor is too good for me. That he shouldn't waste his time on me because I'm stupid. Because I'm never going to be a good mother or a good wife because I couldn't even be a good daughter." Olivia spoke. She looked at Fin and he frowned.
"Didn't go as I thought it would have." He sighed.
"You never knew the absolute bitch that is my mother. Or was my mother."

The investigating for the day came up with nothing. Olivia kept her distance from Elliot and ended up spending most of her time in an interview room because she had privacy. Because she didn't have to hear his snarky remarks or feel his judgemental stares.
"Knock knock," Trevor spoke as he opened the door to the interview room. Olivia stood quickly and walked over to him before hugging him tightly.
"Thanks for coming to see me and eat dinner with me." Olivia breathed. She looked up at him and closed her eyes, so Trevor leaned down and kissed her.
"How was today?" Trevor asked, as they parted and sat down together. Olivia frowned as she contemplated telling Trevor about how nasty Elliot was towards her today.
"It's been long. I just want to go home, but I don't know if Cragen will let me." Olivia sighed. She grabbed his hand and squeezed it as he opened the pizza box.
"Just ask, and I'll drive you home."
"You will?" Olivia asked.
"I'd do anything for you," Trevor spoke, before feeling his face grow hot with embarrassment.
"Elliot doesn't want us to date," Olivia whispered.
"So does that mean we won't date?" Trevor asked.
"He's my best friend... but I feel so complete when I'm with you," Olivia replied as tears ran down her cheeks. Trevor leaned closer to her before caressing her cheek gently with his large hand.
"Kiss me, Olivia," Trevor whispered.
"But-"
"Forget what he said. He'll come around. He'll realize that you are happy and that you truly want to be with me... then everything will be okay." Trevor spoke, before feeling Olivia's shaky lips against his. They kissed for several long moments before Trevor brushed the tears from Olivia's lips and they went to eat dinner together.
